'I was under the impression Fawlty Towers was situated in Torquay, but the complete cast can be found in Bournemouth. Avoid this hotel like the plague. Bathrooms are dirty, old fashioned in the wrong sense of the word and incredibly cramped (room sizes are misrepresented on booking sites). The wiring looked dangerous. Hotel service is non-existent. Most rooms are small and look out over concrete and the parking lot. Corridors have a damp smell and the carpets inside and outside the rooms are...

'The quality of the bed is good. Breakfast is very tasteful, with fresh fruit everyday. The room was very clean . The extra's in the room were nice. Every day the hotel staff paid personal interest in their guests.'

'Beautifully located, book a room with oceanview, it’s the best. Outdoor pool gorgeous. Great breakfast. Close to the beach Got a doggy package with a bed, towel, blanket, toys, cookies, bowl, placemat …. So cool'

'Unfortunately on 2nd floor shower was cold to barely lukewarm for the entire weekend in March. Heating too was off when we arrived but later fixed. No breakfast available and noise throughout the night with banging doors talking laughing etc. Odour exists in rooms and corridors. Hotel is a throwback to the 60's and badly in need of a total renovation. However the price is quite cheap so you get what you pay for.'
