'When you drive up to the lodge, you think "What did I book myself into?" But once you get inside everything is fine. The AC definitely works, and the room has everything you need. A train does run behind the motel, but doesn't go often and doesn't sound it's whistle. The shower was a bit basic but it worked. You have to drive downtown to find a restaurant.'

'We were only here for three nights but loved the time we had here. It was welcoming, spotless and our fridge was stocked everyday with breakfast foods, even bacon. The kitchen was really well stocked as was the rest of the house. For us, instead of being lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves at night, we were able to hear the river and drop off to sleep with that beautiful sound, it really was a luxury home away from home. When I arrived at reception I was told to fill out a form with all my details which was time consuming, I booked through expedia and Ive never had to do this before. Staff communication was minimal at best and kind of unfriendly. The room had all the amentie. The bathroom was very good with plenty of room.'

'Wij hebben hele fijne dagen gehad bij Judges Pool Motel. De eigenaren waren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We hebben van daar uit mooie wandelingen gemaakt. Het enige dat wat minder was, was dat we in ons huisje geen goede wifi hadden. Maar dat werd weer opgelost doordat we uitgenodigd werden, bij en zelfs IN, het kantoor van de eigenaar. De Nederlandse vlag werd bij aankomst voor ons uitgehangen, dat was leuk! Wij zijn heel tevreden over Judges Pool Motel!'
