Firstly, I was so impressed by the professional young women at the front desk; I would guess about college age and doing an impeccable job. The exterior and common areas of the hotel are dated, but our room was so comfortable with luxurious linens, clean bathroom, and dispensers fully stocked with bath products. The complimentary facial wipe was a nice touch. I saw negative google reviews that dogged the dated aspects and area construction. All of Boul. Laurier is being torn up (summer 2025), so it's necessary to detour (2 mins tops) behind it when coming from certain directions. The breakfast was just coffee and fruit, but you should take the 3 minute drive to Au Palet d'Or for an authentically French influenced selection of croissants, baguettes, viennoiseries, and cafe beverages! We didn't have time for the pool. For this establishment, you must consider the value for the money, which for us made the trip possible and for which we were grateful.
