Great location and staff, but the room and overall experience didn’t meet expectations
We stayed for two nights and truly appreciated the central location, the friendly staff, and the pleasant breakfast and access to the coffee and tea through the day. These were definite highlights.
Unfortunately, the room was disappointing. The furniture was very old, and when we opened a closet shelf, the handle came off in our hand. It wasn’t even attached. There was no body wash, only hand soap, which seemed unusual for a hotel at this price point.
The sink was located in the main room instead of the bathroom, which wasn’t very practical. Our room was under the roof, and on one side of the bed, even an average-height person had to bend down to avoid hitting their head.
There were no power outlets on both sides of the bed, and the electrical setup was strange. Some outlets only worked when the main lights were on.
The parking situation was especially frustrating. Upon arrival, we were told there were no available spots in the hotel’s designated lot. We were directed to an alternative location, which was also closed. We had to find parking on our own.
We also only learned that there was no elevator after we had already paid, which would have been important to know in advance.
For the price we paid, we expected a more comfortable stay and clearer advance information about key amenities.
