'Lovely hotel. Not sure it warrants four stars, but very friendly and clean. One thing, the windows open outwards with the opening starting only 6 inches from the floor on the third floor with a nothing to stop someone falling out. I have a photo but cant upload. Sorry.'

'because of restricted access somewhat difficult to find. Also there are only a few parking spaces close to the hotel. Because one of us has a wheelchair for longer distances, we got a room for disabled.people. That was a disaster. You should not have any handicap to manage. Apart from the fact that the bathroom was old and worn (looks like from the same period as the building) it is large and there is not a single possibility to hold on. 'Fabulous place in a lovely location. We had a brilliant stay and the hotel could not do enough to help us. They allowed us to check out a couple of hours later as we had struggled to get transport back from Bilbao, they also made us packed lunch (for a small fee) on departure even though the restaurant was closed. Couldn't recommend enough'
