'This is a beautiful property right on the Douro river. The rooms are very modern and clean and have balconies that overlook the river and vineyards. The staff is so good and want to help anyway they can. We are finding that helpfulness is a Portuguese trait, they are born that way. There is free parking, free EV Charging, a free tour of the wine process and free treats. The location is great for exploring the Douro valley. I recommend visiting Regua and if you are a good driver take a ride up...

'The city of Armamar is quite sleepy and small. For us, this location was wonderfully convenient for the wineries we were visiting. But if you are hoping to walk around at night for night life, this may not be the town for you. The PINTA boutique hotel was beautifully decorated and in great condition. The staff was also communicative, and there is a small but convenient free parking light just behind the property. My husband actually took a job interview (via Zoom) from the common area/breakfast...

'Zeer mooi gelegen hotel met ruime kamer, groot bed en ruime badkamer. De hele quinta ziet er prachtig uit en het eten, zowel ontbijt als diner zijn super goed. Je kan een mooie wandeling maken door de wijngaarden en genieten van de uitzichten. Enige punt van kritiek is de aandacht van het personeel. Dat is vrij functioneel. Soms vergeten ze dat ze je in hotel verblijft, wat de hele tijd tot ongemakkelijke gesprekjes leidde. Iets minder stijf en ingestudeerd zou de sfeer meteen wat meer welkom...
