'Zeer mooi gelegen hotel met ruime kamer, groot bed en ruime badkamer. De hele quinta ziet er prachtig uit en het eten, zowel ontbijt als diner zijn super goed. Je kan een mooie wandeling maken door de wijngaarden en genieten van de uitzichten. Enige punt van kritiek is de aandacht van het personeel. Dat is vrij functioneel. Soms vergeten ze dat ze je in hotel verblijft, wat de hele tijd tot ongemakkelijke gesprekjes leidde. Iets minder stijf en ingestudeerd zou de sfeer meteen wat meer welkom...

'Een hotel boven op de heuvel rondom in de wijngaarden. Een bijzondere locatie waar de service hoog in het vaandel staat. Alles klopt voor een fijn verblijf. Elk plateau waar de hoelkamers liggen, is bereikbaar via trappen. Mijn partner is slecht ter been, maar dit was geen probleem. Het hotel bood de service door een soort golfkarretje als transfer op basis van oproep. Top service.'

'This is a beautiful property right on the Douro river. The rooms are very modern and clean and have balconies that overlook the river and vineyards. The staff is so good and want to help anyway they can. We are finding that helpfulness is a Portuguese trait, they are born that way. There is free parking, free EV Charging, a free tour of the wine process and free treats. The location is great for exploring the Douro valley. I recommend visiting Regua and if you are a good driver take a ride up...

'Quinta do Pego has been recently refurbished (rebuild?) by a Danish company and offers a fantastic experience in the Douro Valley. The Quinta is small (only 10 rooms) and excels in personal attention: no matter where you are in the hotel and at what time, you will be able to order a drink or a bite. And when you enter your room for the first time, a great port surprise awaits you! 'Amazing and very cosy hotel. It only has 3 rooms but that is the charme of this hotel. In return you have a very relaxed morning with a good breakfast. They use fresh ingredients for the breakfast and they don't use sugar. The thing I liked the most (and I think that is also the nr1 reason to book here) is the amazing view over the Douro valley. Marco and his wife Ana are very friendly and helpful. They also offer a great full day tour in the Douro valley with amazing lunch! I would recommend...
