Meh.
Everything that was good about this hotel was quite average. There was nothing bad about it either. It's hard to explain, but the whole is worth less than the sum of its parts... I would probably choose somewhere else next time.

We spent 6 nights at Hotel Casa Gardenia. The staff made our stay so easy and convenient. Rooms were very nice, view from the lounge on the top floor was amazing and the location in Old Town made it very easy to get to sites.

Very well located, close to many restaurants and attractions in old town. The owner was friendly and offered many helpful suggestions. We did appreciate the early check in and late check out.

Great Spot in Old Quito
Our stay was exceptional and I would return in a minute. Breakfast was superb with matching service. The front desk went out of the way to provide us with a map, directions and advice for restaurants and safety. The hotel has great night time views. Highly recommended!!!

We loved our stay! The bed is comfortable, the staff are exceptional, and the breakfast was the perfect start to our day. I particularly liked that the hotel reached out to see if I wanted to set up an airport pickup. I did and we really liked our driver Freddy. We ended up taking a day trip with him the next day. This property was perfect for our stay at Quito, however, I have to note the walls were quite thin. Regardless, we would come back!

Beautiful property with rooftop patio!
Incredible stay, beautiful property. The rooftop sitting area has incredible city vistas, great for coffee or wine in the evening . Andres was such a considerate host. He even let us check out very late as we had a midnight flight out. Really good breakfast, fresh fruit, eggs, juice and range of bread /pastries.

Quito sojourn
The hotel is located on a quiet street within the Old Town that makes sites and restaurants easily walkable. The building itself has a warm aesthetic emphasized with an open wooden stairwell and rooms that incorporate the original historic walls. The management carried our bags and brought up a lovely bottle of wine, which we enjoyed from a lounge area with magnificient views of the city. Of note, there was also assistance with taxis and excellent eating recommendations.

The staff are so kind and accommodating. We had to leave early one morning and they packed us a breakfast to go. They provide a nice map of historic Quito which is easily walkable from the hotel and safe. Loved our stay!

It was amazing super stay. We feel like at home. Personal was super nice, friendly and helpful. We got all possible help we required, including hugs from hotels cat. An Architectural Gem in Quito
This BnB is a real find in the Historic Center. It is an architectural gem with stunning views. The people could not be nicer, even at 4:45 am when they arranged a taxi pick me up. Restaurant suggestions were also excellent.

Wonderful little place.
This place is amazing, but most importantly, the host, Andres, and his staff all do everything they can to make your stay great. Good showers, comfortable beds, great breakfast. One of the best smaller places I have ever stayed at. Would recommend. Hard to find- only a small sign on the door.

Boa opção em Quito
Hospedagem muito bem localizada, no centro de Quito, perto de várias atrações. Acomodações básicas e simples. Café da manhã muito gostoso é feito com muito capricho. Informações de passeios e dicas fornecidas com muito cuidado e carinho. Recomendo para pessoas que não tenham nenhuma restrição de movilidade (há escadas na acomodação e este trecho de Quito está em uma ladeira).

The best visit ever!
This was the best hotel stay ever. We are traveling a lot and this really was the best experience ever. Our room was beautiful, very clean and perfect for the couple. Hospitality from the owner and his team was beyond what we could have asked for. They allowed us to check out almost 7h later to avoid sitting at the airport for hours. Breakfast was fantastic, very fresh fruits and delicious pastries. Great location too, we were able to walk to main tourist attractions in the city and to some restaurants. We felt very safe and welcomed. Do not hesitate, this is the place where you want to stay while visiting Quito’s

Hotel is in a great location. Owner was wonderful. We felt very welcomed! Only thing I had to get used to was the noise of the buses that passed by and rattle the windows, At first, I thought it was an earthquake.

Casa Gardenia is a lovely little hotel in the historic district. It’s an easy walk to good restaurants and sites. The proprietor, Andres, is very friendly and helpful with information. He clearly takes pride in his hotel and his city. The rooms are not big, but they have everything you need. There are some very nice sitting areas with good views where you can relax with a book.

Excellent stay at casa gardenia. Andres was a great host with excellent advice, he arranged several tours which were far better than we could have sourced. The hotel is really nice and comfortable, very tastefully done and in a great location.

This bed and breakfast is a beautiful property in the middle of historic Quito. Service is great with never a ‘no’ to anything requested. Highly recommend and we would come back here again.

Unfortunately, I got sick when I was in Quito, but the hotel manager, Andrés was so immensely helpful. He was very involved in making sure that I was okay and that everything at the hotel met our standards while we were there. I am truly very thankful for all of his help, and cannot recommend this hotel more. It's even better than advertised.
