'In a lovely new neighborhood up in maple bay, we really enjoyed our little place while we attended a dance competition at the cowichan theater. Laundry, full kitchen, & a really nice fresh bread dropped off by the lovely hosts. I just wouldn’t ever want a hotel after this. Hosts were quick with responses to my questions. Grateful :)'

'It was an amazing birthday weekend for my wife. Not only was homie but definitely a true 4 star suite. From the deep sunken bathtub to the thermostat temperature controlled bathroom floor. The fully equipped kitchen and bbq allowed me to make 2 racks of ginger honey ribs with sauteed vegetables, after a day of cruising the lake I made Spaghetti and Meatballs with garlic bread in the air fryer. 'This was a perfect spot from which to explore more of Vancouver Island than just Victoria. We are glad we found you! We hiked above Maple Bay to great views of the area. We had a beautiful day to walk the wide beach east of Parksville, then the beach walk at Qualicum. The rental was more than adequate for all we needed. The waterfront was calm and very pleasant. We watched animals, birds, boats, and the occasional sea plane. Thanks for making this spot available!'

'This cozy trailer is on the owners property adjacent to the river. Many forest walks await with the provincial park nearby. If you are looking for a quiet location to recharge your batteries this is it. The bed was super comfy, bbq worked well and propane heater in the trailer worked well. Only thing lacking is wifi if you need it. Unplug and enjoy. You won’t regret it!'

'Need more specific directions to property for those who don't use pindrop. Kitchen was missing a paring knife and scissors which we often needed. However, those were small things compared to the quiet, cleanliness, and restfulness of the space. It's an excellent location for the area as it's so private.'
