'I didn't like that the weekend cleaning staff weren't very thorough. In room dining menu was scarce of meat dishes, but the food was delicious anyway. There was also a Sundays and public holidays surcharge on room service.
However the room itself, was fantastic! The view was nice, the room and furniture were neat, tidy and clean. An in-room coffee pod machine with complementary pods and bottled water. The bed was extremely comfortable and luxurious. The staff were great and very helpful....

'Een zeer goede ervaring in een hostel. Je hebt een en-suite badkamer die je deelt met enkel jouw kamer. Iedereen krijgt een kast die op slot kan en waar je jouw valies en meer kan insteken. Jouw bed is afgeschermd zoald een pod zodat je toch jouw privacy hebt. Zeker een aanrader! '
'Minor issues. Vanity didn’t drain well. Musty smell in unit until aired out. We were challenged re taking unreserved seating at breakfast even as we had 4 rooms and breakfasts included. Admittedly it was Father’s Day but advance notice would have helped. Challenging guests is unprofessional. We travel extensively using 1class accommodation worldwide. 'The hotel was perfect and appreciate the upgrade. Wish I had booked 2 nights.
Had brunch at the lobby bar but they never placed my order. Finally one attendant sorted it all out when he found out, and in the end didn’t charge me for the meal. Kind of a downer because there’s a lot of spots that people can dine at so more attention needed for training here and having staff that care because your houseguests give you priority over the neighboring eateries.

But don't worry, within 10-15 minutes walk you are in all the goo places or with Lime or uber. Go to South Bank (little stanley street) or city beach, or the Cliffs boardwalk for good food or Fortitude valley for nightlife ;)'

I was empathetic toward the front desk staff, as she was dealing with an impossible customer, and I had to wait a while to check in, but because we commiserated she upgraded me. 'I want to compliment the staff for helping our clients yesterday and today, even at a very unusual hour. I want the management to know that the people who were working in the evening yesterday and this morning have been great and I wish others were like them.'

"Well... the room is really outdated. Everything is there like a towel, bed, ac, but it could use an update. Like some tiles are broken, walls not so neat, really cheap curtains.
It is doable for 1 or 2 nights, but if you are used to a little bit of comfort, I would not recommend it."
