'There are not many places to stay in Wimborne. This is probably the best. Don’t expect elevators or lots of modern conveniences here. This is a 16th century hotel with narrow staircases and our room had beamed ceilings and a copper bathtub. What is great is that it is right in the won center and has enough free and secure parking so you don’t need to use a public carpark.'

'The property was very clean and comfortable and the staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Just a couple of observations . If a client is using derogatory foul audible language aimed at women in the bar area they should be asked to stop by the manager/bar tender - it’s not pleasant to be subjected to this if you’re sitting quietly trying to enjoy your own drink . It would be great value & a positive accolade for a simple continental breakfast to be included in the nightly rate instead of...

'Mooi hotel zo’n 500 m van het centrum met haar leuke plein en winkels. Aardig personeel ook. De gezellige sfeer in het hotel ontbrak wel. Deed wat stil aan ook Verder prima voor een nachtje.'

'Easy parking at the back of the hotel. Rooms are comfortable and mine was quiet. Pity you can't charge anything to your room e.g. drinks, etc. Breakfast has everything you wish for. Nice croissants as well. Not the first time I stayed here, so hope to be back soon.'

'If you want somewhere to stay that is reasonable in price and puts together a good evening meal and breakfast with good beer behind the bar then this is for you. One small drawback my satnav could not find the postcode!!'

'A very cosy, comfortable and well equipped cottage. Extremely convenient for the high street and the station. We were visiting for a family event in Tisbury and it made the perfect base for the weekend. We would like to have stayed longer - maybe next time!'
