'Beautiful, cosy 14th century inn with rooms. Picture postcard perfect and in a great location for walks and a short drive to Tisbury High Street.
Food in the pub was excellent as was choice of drinks.

Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late.

Also very close to Moors Valley County Park, which is a great wood and open space.'

'Lovely friendly welcome from the hosts. Pre-ordered breakfast for the following day and then settled down for the evening in a huge room with comfy seats, a big bed and a lovely bright and clean bathroom.
Breakfast was just as promised, fresh, local and really tip top. Sat chatting with the hosts over breakfast watching the horse liveries turning out for the morning. Very very pleasant. '

'Een bijzondere ervaring, dat was het. Mede door het warme en gastvrije onthaal door de vrouw des huizes. Het landhuis zelf is oud, maar van binnen met veel smaak opgeknapt en gemeubileerd. Het heeft alle comfort, maar ademt tegelijk de sfeer van Downton Abbey. Onze kamer had een prachtig uitzicht op de enorme tuin en het bos daarachter en het grootste en beste bed van al onze Engelse logies.

'The B&B was great and staff were very friendly. They own a restaurant up the street and we were able to store luggage there before and after our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I was a bit worried about the noise, being so close to the railroad, but I hardly noticed it; I didn't even use the free ear plugs provided by the hotel. The Lobby and breakfast area was very fun and eclectic and the breakfast was great. '

'This was one of the best experiences I’ve had in all of England staying at this charming inn. The food was outstanding as well as the service and staff. I would highly recommend this to anyone, especially if you want to visit several of the southern Pride and Prejudice movie sites such as Stourhead or Wilson House. Stonehenge is also close by! Staff were friendly as was the manager and you get a complimentary cookie from the kitchen on arrival in your room. Very cosy comfortable and spacious rooms in a loverly area. Door het oude pand is er geen airco wat jammer was. Wij waren er met 34 graden. Er kon maar een superklein raam open dus erg warm op kamers. Gelukkig was er wel een ventilator aanwezig op de kamers.
Schoonmaak is super, na twee nachten kregen wij alweer schoon beddengoed.
Het restaurant onder het hotel is een aanbeveling, gezellig en eten is verrukkelijk! Met name de rumpsteak.'
