'I booked one nights stay as my daughter and I were at Badminton Horse Trials. I had not researched the location before going so was amazed to enter the beautiful village of Lacock. The whole place is unique and the property is so beautiful. We were met by our hosts Rufus and his wife and they could not have been more welcoming. 'Spotlessly clean, fabulous hosts and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Reading past reviews I was shocked at mentions of the floors being cold. It's an 18th century cellar for goodness sake!!! Stone floors are part of the charm. It is cosy and warm at this time of year (and I imagine lovely and cool in the summer).I would definitely stay again for its location, its cleanliness and its hosts. Can't fault it except for the mattress, which is a bit "argos" and could do with a good...

'Very comfortable with plenty of room for 4 adults. Single parking space allocated to apartment but free parking in street. Lovely view over Bath from balcony.'

'The studio is lovely and well equipped. It was exceptionally clean. Including bathrobes added a touch of luxury. It was easy enough to find with the instructions provided. I recommend a walk along the bicycle path from the local recreation ground. '

'Cheddar and the surrounding area is such a lovely part of the country and the Gatehouse matched that. The bed was large and very comfortable, the lounge perfect for snuggling away the evenings and the shower particuarly good! Parking also could not have been easier. Do note though, a lot of the roads in the area are narrow and twisty without footpaths so a small car is preferable and beware when walking them.'

'A couple of nights away with the girls. The apartment was overall good. I should have checked when booking but there is no parking. The area Redlands is nice. The outside of the apartment needs tidying up. The beds and bedding were comfortable but when we went to make one of the beds into double (was a zip lock) the sheeting was filthy with bloody stains. The cleaner did come the next day to change the bedding but was a bit grim. The shower facilities weren’t great as the flow was very weak....
