JUST AMAZING SOO BEAUTIFUL 😍
The Big Deck is exactly the place for some RNR perfect spot amazing views bach has all you need dated but perfect for that kiwi bach experience by the beach ⛱️ was clean and tidy plenty of space so just perfect for us host was lovely great to communicate with everything went smooth even with a last min request to take the fur babies 😊 thanks so much Hine nd John we had such a nice break away the bach was awesome we did not want to leave just pecfect 👍😊👌

Smallish house or Bach with a huge deck with ocean views. A little bit out of town but we liked that. Hosts were extremely helpful and friendly and great to deal with. One day we plan to go back to Raglan and we will definitely stay at the Big Deck

Amazing!
Loved this little Bach. It’s not flash and a little tired but so relaxing. The deck is amazing and the views to die for. Even with a group of teenagers we never felt overcrowded. Would definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a great stay at The Big Deck, excellent location and had everything we needed. Everything was just as expected from the photos & description, very tranquil location a bit out of town. Would definitely stay again if we’re out in Raglan on a future trip.

John was great with giving us a run down of the bach and making sure we knew what we've signed up for. The place has a huge deck with beautiful view of the ocean. It isn't a fancy place and has minimal amenities but if you're looking to have a relaxing getaway and not expecting a fancy place, this is a great option in Raglan.

Wonderful view, peaceful and quiet stay.
It was very peaceful away from the noise and the view was of the beach was perfect. Very nice, quality place to stay and detach. The host didn't hesitate to guide me through the check in steps and was easy to contact. Great host! Great home! Great view!

Fantastic View, Great Stay for Family
This property is located about 15 minutes outside of Raglan town centre, and is perched upon a hill. As the description says, the Big Deck is the central feature of the house, and it is absolutely gorgeous. Having coffee in the morning or chilling out at sunset on the deck is one of the highlights of the trip! The amenities are simple and adequately appointed - we had everything we needed. A classic New Zealand bach.

Whanau Time get together
We had an awesome stay at this batch. It felt really comfortable. Although some things were rather dated our family had a wonderful time. One thing to be aware of is the driveway as it was rather tricky to drive up safely.

We did a last minute getaway to Raglan to watch our son surf and saw ‘the big deck’ had availability. Grabbed the 2 grandsons to join us and drove up from Taihape. Well what a magical long weekend we have all had. And this place is what made it so special...the views are incredible and we loved the old school Bach vibe of the house. Easy check in process and fabulous communication with John. So clean and tidy with everything we needed for our 2 nights. Great shower, comfy beds and pillows, and jenga was fun for all. The place is exactly as described. Is lovely & cosy. Everything you need for a long weekend or longer stay. John was very prompt and helpful when we had a small issue that was quickly rectified. Quiet neighbourhood but close enough to Raglan for dinner and other supplies. Can't wait to come back ❤️

Misleading information
The big deck raglan was truly a million dollar view, but the best part to take in the views, (the deck) is rotting in places and the steps are very slippery in wet weather. There is no t.v. to watch unless you take your laptop, and the driveway is a nightmare, also in wet weather.

The deck/steps and driveway have been repaired after damage suffered from a period of heavy rains. We have changed the access to the driveway so that it is far easier. As detailed in the written instructions the TV does require a device to run it, but there is free high quality Wifi with no data cap so you can watch as many shows as you like!

We enjoyed the property and think it was fair for the price and in line with the description. The property manager John was great with communication and giving us some extra little tips. He followed up afterwards as well which I thought was smart. It has an absolutely beautiful view.

Stunning views and lively birds
Comfy queen bed and comfy sofas. Two most impt things. Shower good and fridge and oven new. All was really good and peaceful with lots of lovely walks around I would return but would take own wine glasses and chrome cast. I left really relaxed and wished I had longer there.

Great location and tidy house with nearly 270 degrees of sea view. It has a steep driveway and a little bit hard to drive in. We should have followed the owner's instructions given before. That will be much helpful.

beautiful view
pretty basic. weird layout but the view and deck make are the attraction. you can see the surf from your bed. the tv set up was a pain so we ended up watching netflix from our laptop
