'The room itself was clean and up to date. The hallway was not air conditioned or clean. There was the aroma of pot in the hallway at all times. The hotel is located right behind two gas stations and on a busy road. It was noisy. The breakfast left much to be desired. They had bread, but no toaster. 'Thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at this MCM hotel. Room was great, easy parking. Anna on the front desk was outstanding in helping us with places to see, as was her colleague at the bar. Only thing that needs improvement is communication - our flight was delayed by 24hrs and my four different attempts at contacting the hotel received no response. Looking forward to returning again soon.'

'My biggest complaint about this hotel was the fact that they have a barn door style door for the bathroom and on both sides it does not go flush with the wall and sticks out a good inch 2 inch and a half. There’s no privacy there’s not even an exhaust fan in the bathroom. 'Sheraton used to be one of the top hotel chains. When I arrived, the lobby was hot. Now, it was a very hot and muggy day, but inside should’ve been a little better. Everyone was sweaty, including front desk. The room was okay. I was on the 16th floor. The AC didn’t really blow cool air. 'The Casso is in an excellent downtown Raleigh location and was walking distance to downtown restaurants, shops and things to do and see. The entire staff was professional and courteous and friendly. Jonathan, who checked us in and whom we saw in most of our comings and goings, was the BEST!. He always greeted us, was interested in how our day or evening had gone, and made our stay more enjoyable. We highly recommend The Casso for your stay in Raleigh.'

'The room was clean, and the staff was very helpful. The hotel is conveniently located near the amphitheater and is easy to access. Breakfast was good. Because the hotel is close to the road, the room was a bit noisy, but white noise helped minimize the disturbance. The bed was very soft and sat low to the ground. We would have preferred a firmer mattress. We had reserved a king room but were given a room with a queen bed and a daybed instead. Overall a good experience for a one night stay.'
