'The room was clean, and the staff was very helpful. The hotel is conveniently located near the amphitheater and is easy to access. Breakfast was good. Because the hotel is close to the road, the room was a bit noisy, but white noise helped minimize the disturbance. The bed was very soft and sat low to the ground. We would have preferred a firmer mattress. We had reserved a king room but were given a room with a queen bed and a daybed instead. Overall a good experience for a one night stay.'

'Thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at this MCM hotel. Room was great, easy parking. Anna on the front desk was outstanding in helping us with places to see, as was her colleague at the bar. Only thing that needs improvement is communication - our flight was delayed by 24hrs and my four different attempts at contacting the hotel received no response. Looking forward to returning again soon.'

'Typically stay here occasionally when I work. This time when I got my room , someone had definitely slept in there, room was not clean or ready. Moved me to another one, didn’t mind it but it was right beside the elevator so I can pretty much hear it and people. I must’ve always thought housekeeping work, no matter the shift but they all leave at a certain time. 'Overall, the stay was great. Location is perfect for walking around downtown Raleigh. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The front desk and housekeeping staff were above and beyond when it came to requesting extra towels and sundries (coffee, cups, etc.) and telling us about local information. 'The staff were very friendly. The whole hotel was clean and well maintained. The breakfast area was small but well stocked with a variety of items. The staff replenished the food as needed. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and the water in the shower was hot.'

'The hotel was exceptionally clean and in a fantastic, convenient location. The staff was lovely as well. The only downside was the room's poor soundproofing; unfortunately, I was kept awake at night by screaming children in the neighboring room. Great stay overall, will stay again.'

'Our room had curtains that we could not close because they were ripped. We had to use a hanger to keep them close because people could see right into our room. We prepaid for the room and then was charged again when we got there and are still awaiting a refund. The woman at the desk, unfortunately did not know how to correct it and it appears that the manager that came by did not either because the amount is still not returned to me, although the $35 incidental fee has been refunded.'

'It's an old facility and in need of improvements. The elevator was slow and a bit spotty. The escalators were not operating part of the time. The AC in my room wasn't working as well as the AC in the hallways. The staff was polite and tried their best. Bottom line is for the rates they charge the hotel is not worth the expense.'
