'The house itself is huge and very very nice. We were welcome to use whatever we needed and all the luxuries they have. The owners are incredibly friendly and were more than welcome to help us in whatever way they could. Though there is nothing in the near vicinity it is not far from the Ring Road.'

'We booked the accomodation via expedia though it was closed and not prepared for guests when we arrived on site. The host was not on site but managed a friend to prepare everything for us and hand us over the key - so we had the entire appartment for our own and a very firendly and helpful neighbour. Great service!'

'Het was een eenvoudig guesthouse. Er waren voldoende badkamers maar er was niet genoeg ruimte in de keuken zodat alle gasten konden zitten. Over het algemeen gewoon een goede eenvoudige guesthouse.'

'Beautiful property and great cabin! We will stay here on future trips for sure! Loved the view and all the horses. Cabin had little kitchenette, but they also offered an breakfast option at the main building. Staff was very friendly. I do wish the hot tub was located closer to the cabins as it was too cold to shower, head to the main building, get in the hot tub, then head back to the cabin while in wet swimming suits. '

'De accomodatie is prima, alle benodigde spullen zijn aanwezig. Prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is voor IJslandse begrippen heel goed. De blokhutten zijn wel wat gedateerd. De omgeving is niet heel bijzonder. Supermarkt dichtbij. '

'The guesthouse has a big kitchen and many toilets. The rooms are extremely small and you have to play a little bit of Tetris to get your stuff arranged., but we knew that. Sadly the mattress was a bit thin and not that comfy. The host was very friendly. Wouldn't recommend staying for more than one night tough.'

'Check in was very easy (lock with a pre-send code). Parking was extremely easy, right in front of the building next to the main road. Room was spacious and clean. The free bar of chocolate was a really lovely touch.'

'We have been guests at the Afternoon Cottages twice. We stayed in #4 the first time and #5 the second time. They are mirror images of each other. Everything was clean and the location is perfect for seeing the Aurora as long as the sky is clear. Communication with the property manager was easy and effortless and on our first stay we even extended it by a day. I highly recommend the Afternoon Cottages.'

'My wife and I spent a great week here. Secluded and calm location with great views. Within driving distance of all the great spots in the southwest. Would suggest this to all couples looking for a nice getaway. We had no problems personally with the sleeping quarters, but they are tight (in the attic of the cabin) and require you to climb a small stair.'
