The cottage is adorable, very private and within reasonable driving times to the area’s attractions. The cottage was well equipped and well furnished. 'The house was very clean and well appointed. Stocked well with all the items you forget about (garbage bags, soap, condiments, laundry soap etc. etc. etc. ) The beds were comfortable. The views are stunning and we saw wild turkeys, deer and of course the koi pond was very peaceful. It was the perfect spot for us to relax and unwind after tours of Mt Rushmore and area attractions. Would absolutely return to this beautiful awesome home. '

'Loved this historic home— charming, spacious for our group of 7! Nice and close to downtown. Great homebase for our family wedding trip. Rapid City provided us a great home from which we explored the Badlands and Wall Drug, the Black Hills (Spearfish and Bridal Veil Falls), Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse monument, and even Devils Tower in Wyoming. All this and a wedding within 5 days! Thanks for a great home to warm up in after the chilly spring winds.'

'I was able to branch out from this central.location in every direction and see everything i wanted to. It was very nice to have a home base. Also close to large big box stores if younforget somethinf'

'The overall it was nice and you felt safe and the cabin was clean but the living room furniture it needs some updates no cushioning and if you very large or had walking issues the bathroom was not good you had to sit sideways my husband and I are small to average so we made due and we had to leave a day sooner because. Of car issues so we did not get anything back but it is what it is'

'Went on early season visit to Mount Rushmore and Custer state park. Beautiful area and we had the privilege of being first to stay at the property being renovated. Cottage was very nice and will be back.'

'We love it in the Black Hills this is our 3rd time at the Creekside location and 2nd time in this cabin, I see no reason to look anywhere else next year when we go. It is centrally located to everything we do down there. The cabin is nice and clean and feels very private.'

'We had a fantastic stay at the hideaway. It was quiet, clean, and very comfortable. We enjoyed not having to pack all the kitchen appliances, and we took advantage of the kitchen, cooking each night. We spent afternoons soaking up sunshine on the decks aftee hiking nearby trails. The location was perfect, so close to all the parks and monuments. It had everything we needed. We highly recommend!'

'Property is in a beautiful setting. Hot tub is great. Had what we needed in the kitchen and nice to have lots of towels for shower/hot tub. The reason for four stars is that the house had a lot of strong, plug-in fragrance things that we unplugged, but then the downstairs room had a really strong musty/moldy smell. Not sure how to address this without tearing out drywall, but fixing this would make it 5-star.'

'This is our 4th holiday home family vacation and by far the best. This home is made for making memories. Although located in Rapid City, you would never know once you check in. The scenic beauty looking out the back at the deer is wonderful. The house itself is beyond comparson to the other homes offered. It simply is luxurious fun!! The pool, swim spa, game rooms, home gym, i cant think of anything it's missing. The bar has been set on this one!'

'Cabin was clean and had everything we needed plus more, honestly the host thought of everything! Location is awesome. Quiet, with exception of cars on the road. Never heard our neighbors in other cabins. Will be back! '
