The building is a little dated but the room we were in had been refurbished. Will definitely stay again. 'Such a grand old building with an interesting history. The manager was lovely to deal with. My Queen room had the basics and was clean and tidy. There were 2 toilets and 2 showers on the ground floor but watch out if the toilet paper has run out by early morning! The lounge area upstairs is great! Some parking behind the building but I had to park on the street - which was fine. I stayed for 3 nights and would definitely stay there again.'

'De plek was op een camping bij Townsville vlakbij The strand. Het was allemaal netjes schoon, maar je merkt dat de faciliteiten al redelijk verouderd zijn en aan vernieuwing toe is. Het verf laat los van de muur, de airco/ventilator ratelt. Prima voor een enkele nacht, maar niet voor langer verblijf. En qua locatie is het net buiten te stad, dus als je iets wil eten moet je of een stukje lopen of met de auto een stukje richting stad rijden.'

'Time we spent well there loved the views from the top floor, but as we started to settle in and actually take notice of the place the it was not clean properly, dished still had lip prints and hand prints on them, dishes, pots and cutlery was not washed up and cleaned properly, floor was making the bottom of our foot black not sure if they mopped, sheets had stains on them, curtains had dirt or mould on it, fans and lights dusty and looked like they haven’t been cleaned in ages. It’s not kids...

'Really lovely place. Welcoming, clean, feels new and so quiet inside the apartments. Right by the creek, could probably catch a nice red bream or trevally by throwing a line in! Very central, can walk to stadium, town centre, pubs, clubs and restaurants. Secure parking and secure building, felt very safe staying here. Slept very well, comfortable beds and furniture. Will definitely stay here again.'

The location is very convenient, walking distance to the Cowboys leagues club and stadium which was the purpose of our trip. Good wifi TV etc. Quiet apart from the odd Stone Curlew; but possibly a little noisy if there is a Cowboys game on the weekend.
