'Only thing that was bothersome was the attitude of desk clerk on check in - she couldn’t be bothered when I asked about getting a different room - curt short answer just not possible - I asked about room on first floor - my wife has mo bility issues - we ended up on 2nd floor but at end of hallway which was a distance '

'The room and bathroom were clean. The shower was hot. They upgraded us to a city view room and the staff is extremely friendly! The pool is heated but not really, so, it was cold. They also only have valet parking which is another $30. The location is also good for downtown. '

'The staff was particularly outgoing and helpful. The air conditioning worked wonderfully in the room. The TV channels were easy enough to navigate. The drinks at the bar where a little more than I think was just justified. The pizza at the restaurant was fairly priced and very delicious high-quality'

'Staff was helpful, breakfast was fine. Scrambled eggs were actually pretty good! Hotel was being renovated so some areas had evidence of work in progress (elevators needed sweeping, etc) and our newly renovated room had no curtains (but did have a light blocking shade) no carpet, no pictures on the wall, very sterile looking. And oddly there were a few ants on our night tables. I suspect some of these issues are temporary. FYI Outside in the back of the hotel there was an attractive pool area.'

'Standard room for the price range. No frills but no major complaints either. For a free breakfast, I find it difficult to nitpick. The selection was diverse enough to allow most people to find a thing or two to enjoy. The single serve pancake machine was cool. I had never seen one before. Beds were comfy and clean. The shower / bathroom could use updating. If you're not staying in the hotel as your vacation, this place is perfect. It's in the middle of everything. You can't go a block without...

'We were very happy with everything except the sofa in the room, which was significantly broken down in the middle, so broken down that when sitting on it, it caused you to lean to the center. '
