The Space:
Windsong Retreat sits in the tranquil neighbourhoods of Redridge, Bundaberg region. Ideally situated in the middle of a large 2.2-acre block beside a garden bed of Australian native bushes, specifically planted to create nesting areas for local birds, allowing you to enjoy nature close up.

Only 36 minutes away from Bundaberg Central. Nearby Woodgate Beach, Woolworths Childers, and Hervey Bay.

A comfortable tiny house accommodation with easy access to water, split system air conditioning, a kitchenette (with microwave and cook top), and excellent bathroom facilities. Afollows ecologically sustainable principles, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding-tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers) for your use..

If you plan to spend your farm stay QLD getaways here, we advise you bring your basic necessities though there is local shops not too far away should you need anything.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings, except for the shed and patio, which have restricted access. Occasionally, your hosts will stop by to greet and see if you need anything.

While there are many local attractions for visitors to see and explore, what's important is the absolute peace that this farm stay QLD getaway offers.

Only 36-minutes away from Bundaberg Central, and 2-hours drive from the Sunshine Coast.

- Woodgate Beach is a stunning untouched beach with spectacular sea views, just 35 minutes away from the tiny house.
- Snakes Down Under Reptile Park is situated in Childers, home to native Aussie reptiles, amphibians, marsupials, and more.
- Childers Bakery is a heritage-listed bakery at 82 Churchill Street that serves a variety of delicious pastries, coffee, and desserts.
- Hervey Bay is a coastal city best known for its whale watching encounters, recently named a Whale Heritage Site for its “best whale watching encounters in the world.”
- Mollydookers Cafe is a great little local spot offering a unique mix of Australian with Canadian cuisine. A short 10 minute drive 29399 Bruce Highway, Apple Tree Creek.

Getting Around:
By car:

- 35 mins drive to Bundaberg
- 9 min drive to/from the nearest town, Childers

By public transport:

- Unfortunately, there are no taxis available
- The local train is 40 mins away, which you must drive yourself.

Other Things to Note:
- WiFi available
- Pets are not allowed
- Self-catering accommodation
- Optus and Telstra have good reception
- Our property is accessible by car or motorbike
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- No smoking allowed inside/outside the tiny house
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

Important note:

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
