'Staff was great. Food was great. Property was great. Natural setting with birds and monkeys was really great. On a clear day you can see the top of Kilimanjaro as you have a gin and tonic on the veranda in the photo. Monkeys would be playing overhead as you were eating on a terrace overlooking a bird paradise. Horseback riding was great through the village and jungly terrain. Gift shop was great compared to others I saw in Tanzania and we spent loads there. Pool was great. Wonderful...

'This property is off the “beaten path” but well worth the trip and only 20-30 min outside of Arusha. The property was clean, reasonably priced, quiet, and very courteous staff members. 'The facilities, including the lodge, furnishings and buildings were tip top, much to like. The greenery - trees, gardens great. Some of the staff - especially house keeping were unresponsive/slow and if something was requested in the room, took too long, and once we requested towels at the swimming pool which were never delivered even after following up. 'Het is een mooie lodge, met een leuk zwembad. Prachtige natuur op het terrein, leuke bediening. Het ligt wel een beetje afgelegen, er staan ook geen taxis voor de deur. Een taxi kun je het beste zelf vanuit Arusha regelen, scheelt de helft.'

The income of the Honey Badger Lodge is beneficial to the education of local children in the community. This lodge can organize all kind of activities. We visited a chagga village, waterfall and coffee plantation. '

'Leider ist Vijiji nach der Renovierung in einem schlechteren Zustand als vorher. Im Zimmer ist kein Schreibtisch, von WLAN auf dem Grundstück ganz zu schweigen - obwohl ich vorab hierzu eine (unbeantwortete) Anfrage geschickt hatte. Das Bad war leider in einem schlimmen Zustand (alte Monatsbinden im Müll), verdreckte Armaturen. Das Zimmer war einfach aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet - nur leider ohne irgendeinen Tisch, abgesehen von einem kleinen, niedrigen Beistelltisch. Schade, der Garten ist...
