Nice hotel, nice location
Nice hotel in a practical location. Downtown not far away. Free parking and lots of space. All roads are nearby to get to south or west or downtown. Lots of friendly and happy people day and night at the restaurant and bar/lounge. We had a great view of the mountains. Two downsides for me. 1. The bathroom. It was clean, but could really use a makeover. 2. I wanted to check out the gym, but I could not gain access. Later I read I need to pay a fee for the fitness center. I already paid close to usd300,- a night and I can not even fitness? Not nice. Hotel staff friendlyness at its best.

I paid almost 500$ for seven breakfast and it was the same thing every day and their selection was horrible the only good thing about the breakfast was the cappuccino

Good stay overall. Clean and spacious rooms for this area. My room was warm even with the heat completely shut off I kept the window open 24/7. Bar service was unfriendly and horribly expensive. Dining/ coffee shop access almost disappeared in this section of town in the weekend.

The property was clean and the staff was helpful, the location was the only negative as there wasn’t really much within walking distance in terms of restaurants and shops. I would choose a hotel in city center if I were to return.

I enjoyed the breakfast and the - for a hotel -good gym. The room was ok, but pretty basic and in need of some love. Quiet, though. I think I was pretty unlucky to always bump into that grumpy receptionist, all other staff members were a delight, though.

Hotel is a true 4 star hotel, great facilities, food and drinks, and of an amazing front staff. Hanna, Krissa and especially Siggurgier were extremely helpful in making our stay an absolute pleasure. Highly recommended accommodations.

The front desk staff really spoilt the stay for us. Unwelcoming, wrong information and even gave the wrong rooms to us. Eventually my boss had the single bed room and I had the double room. Only found out during breakfast the next morning. Terrible when I specifically asked her if the rooms are different and she replied no they are the same.

The property is very convenient for families. It has a nice Nordic Spa for adults. The bar and sitting areas are very cosy. The atmosphere definitely reflects the New Year vibe.. The breakfast was so rich and delicious. They serve happy hour every evening on the executive lounge, free drinks and snacks.. absolutely perfect..

Not bad location, about 20 min walk into downtown Reykjavik. Staff was attentive and helpful, rooms were clean albeit dated design which in opinion i did not mind at all. Happy can make tea/coffee in my room too.

Front desk staff
Check in was horrible due to the very rude staff at the front desk. They roses their voices, were insulting, just over all hateful and unhelpful. We are in a foreign land and could have used the advice or help and instead we’re met repeatedly with these two individual ladies who went out of their way to be rude.

I booked three rooms for myself, and two friends. They put my friends on a different floor from me, although I booked three rooms. They had a shower in a bathtub. My room was half the size of their room, the bathroom needed to be updated. In the shower that they gave me minus the tub was very tiny, where you bumped into the filthy shower curtain that was hanging up. Not very happy with Hilton. Will never stay there again.
