Found within fantastic Mid-Wales scenery, this quaint former shepherd’s hut is a superb choice of accommodation for a cosy couple’s break. Set in a secluded position, the hut is situated on a small glamping site in the Powys village of St Harmon. Enjoy uncovering the enticing trails of the Gilfach Nature Reserve (2 miles) – bring your binoculars if you are a birder. For more aerial spectacle visit the daily feeding displays at the Red Kite Feeding Station (4 miles). Wayfarers will definitely enjoy the waterside walks around the impressive dams of the Elan Valley (6 miles). The town of Rhayader is 3 miles away; it’s home to shops, banks, and other amenities. There are also some great pubs and restaurants in town.

Three steps take you up to the front door of this glamping accommodation. Once inside, you will encounter the open-plan living space – it’s a cosy prospect with a kitchenette that comes complete with a collection of handy appliances. There is also a small dining table with two chairs. With underfloor heating and wood burner fire you can stay toasty all year round. Come bedtime, sink into the comfy king-size bed; fall asleep watching your favourite show on the TV mounted on the wall. In addition to the main room, a shower room is nearby.

Outside you will encounter a decking area where you can enjoy the views. Gaze at the stars from the private hot tub to complete the picture of holiday bliss.
