'The room (shepherds hut) was great just the right size for two of us and the hot tub was huge. We didn’t need to ask for anything but saw the staff at the other huts and lodges cleaning etc, always very chatty when we saw them. Location was a little bit difficult to find but once there we were fine. Very close to Elan Valley and we had a view of one of the dams from out hut which was beautiful. All in all we had a great stay.'

'The whole stay was beautiful! It was clean, spacious and the host even left Welsh cakes, eggs and milk in the fridge for me. It’s the first time I’ve solo travelled and this place was perfect for me, but I can also see it being perfect for a couple too! The host also left a “guide” on the table, with key information and recommendations for local places to eat and things to do, as well as cab companies which was really useful! I will absolutely be staying again! I had the best time and couldn’t...

'The lodge we chose was perfect, it had a hedged private garden & the hot tub was under cover should there be anu rain. The only thing to bear in mind is there is no shop on site and nearest is about 5 mins drive away. But in all the site is amazing, great views, quiet, well laid out, both pet & family friendly site. Great location to visit Elan Valley.'
