Great cozy cabin
Such a nice cabin to stay in. We really enjoyed our stay here. As other reviews mention, the upper level and bedroom have a very low ceiling, which isn’t the most comfortable for getting in and out, but this didn’t detract from our stay at all. It is just something to keep in mind when booking. We enjoyed our time here and would recommend it.

Pretty good.
I liked the cabin over all, but the power and internet is constantly going out. One of the baseboard heaters is out, so tuning on a box fans to circulate the warm air helped a lot.

Cute cabin in the woods
Overall the cabin was very cute and we enjoyed our stay. That said there were a few things left to be desired. The fenced in area for the pups was very overgrown, and underneath the cushions of the sofa and chair could use a cleaning. It is summer time and of the eight windows in the house only four could be opened for air flow and the screens and windows were very dirty. I get that we’re in a cabin in the woods but an occasional cleaning would be nice. The fans provided for cooling were very dirty and we didn’t want to use them. I contacted Vacasa and heard back from them the next day about the cleanliness and fans. They did promptly bring us brand new fans to replace the dirty ones and we were very grateful for that. I also mentioned the condition of the windows and furniture so that the cleaning team is aware. They offered to send the cleaning team during our stay but it was a short stay and we declined. Overall we did really enjoy the location and the cabin was adorable.

Not what we expected
The manager of the house was a great guy and very helpful. When we arrived, there was no firewood, but the next day the manager brought us some. The minus's were that it was impossible to stand up in the minuscule bedroom. The stairs leading up to it were extremely narrow, and since the bathroom was downstairs, I almost fell in the middle of the night when needing to go downstairs. The sofa in the living room was extremely lumpy, and I ended up sitting on the floor rather than the sofa. The location was delightful, but the inside the cottage needs a great deal of help.

Would have rather camped on property
I gave the company a chance to reach out before posting this comment. And they never got back to me. Its been two weeks since we stayed and when I reached out. I will never stay here again. And I realize they have great reviews. We loved the property. Most importantly the fire pit. We read so many great reviews and are now wondering if they were paid to post. The great reviews are why we rented. Anyway, upon arrival and getting settled, there was what looked like spaghetti splatter dried all over the oven doors. And while placing items in the fridge, it was beyond dirty. The following morning while my children went to go explore with my husband, they took two steps off the porch opposite of front door and stepped in dog poop. Gross. And seeing as there is no hood range in kitchen, when you have to open door as everything you cook sets off fire alarms....A million flies come on. I can only imagine from the numerous people that bring their dogs and dont pick up their poop. Allowing even more flies to come in. So many flies the bedroom upstairs was swarming as I went to bed. Double gross Also, on our first night, my sons went to pull red fleece blanket off back of couch and found some woman’s strip eye lashes on blanket. Obviously from a previous stay. I dont write a bad review often. But, this one was worth the review. Great property and lovely fire pit.

Magical home in the forest
This was a delightful home which, while just off the main road, was set against the curve of a creek, among lots of trees with moss dripping off & a wood-burning stove. My only caveat is it needs to be made explicitly clear that the bedroom is not only accessible via one TALL (more than knee height for me) step, but at the top of a narrow, steep stairway - and it has quite low ceilings (even for me, and I'm short!). But, other than that, everything was great, kitchen was well-stocked, all was comfortable.

The cabin was very quaint and functional downstairs. The narrow and steep stairway posed some problems getting luggage up there as well as were somewhat of a hazard, especially coming down. The bedroom left a lot to be desired, we were not prepared to have to literally crawl in and out of bed! The location was nice within the wooded neighborhood, but additional outdoor lighting would make it easier to find and navigate.

Great cabin
Loved this little cabin. It was clean and had everything we needed. The dogs loved the yard. It wasn’t a real walkable neighborhood, which would have made it perfect, but there are plenty of trails within a 10-20 minute drive away. We would definitely come back

Beautiful property and cozy cabin!
We spent a lovely 3 days at this cabin and it was wonderful. My 5 year old and I played in the creek and I relaxed and read on the back deck. This was a perfect, peaceful get away. I had to promise my daughter that we'd return and next time we'll bring wood for the campfire!

We had a great weekend away at this cabin. Loved all the windows showing the beautiful property. It was also close to a pub and market (about 2 miles). Our dog enjoyed the enclosed yard to explore.

Fall Feast Getaway
My husband and I had a great time in the few nights we stayed here. It was awesome to have a fenced area + much more property to explore for our dog. The cabin was very clean and super cozy. We had a blast playing the board games and it was nice to relax in front of the fire. We hope to be back soon!

Such a cute place !
Booked a stay here for my boyfriends birthday and the house was adorable. Everything was well labeled and helpful. Our dog loved playing in the yard. She even found 2 more balls while we were playing fetch. We love it and are already planning our next trip :)

Delightfully Cozy Cabin
We came out here for just a little get away, without much in the way of plans to go DO anything out and about, and this cabin was a wonderful home away from home. A few places here were a bit of a tight squeeze for me (6'1"), like the stairs up to the loft and loft bedroom, and the shower, but even with that, it was a beautiful place. Everything was very clean when we got there, and they had a propane grill, which we used every day that we were there. It's set right off of a quiet road and has a little creek running through the front of the property We didn't spend too much time outside since it started to rain while we were there, but there were windows with a great view and a fireplace inside. It is pet friendly! We didn't bring a dog but did notice that they even have a nice little pet bed that looked very clean. All in all we had a wonderful time and it made me wish that I was living there permanently.

Lovely cabin to stay in! Very clean and everything in working order. Lovely views and super convenient to great hiking trails and Mt. Hood. Rhododendron is a super cute little area of homes and cabins. My only complaint: the wi-fi wasn't working at all. My phone didn't even pick up the network that was supposedly in the cabin.

Peaceful Cabin Life
I was very thankful this place was available for the time I booked it. It was just a beautiful & well kept home. It far from hiking trails & local places to check out. Prefect & easy access to everything. All the amenities as to be expected just as described & they left Christmas up - which I was thrilled about. I will definitely book again.

Perfect, Peaceful Retreat for 2 & 4 Legged alike!
My Husband & I, and our Labradoodle had a GREAT time here. It's wonderful to have the fenced in yard, just like at our own home. Lot's of beautiful hiking trails in the area too! Having the woodstove was another amenity we love that made our stay very cozy. We will stay again when we can. Thanks!

Excellent and very cozy stay
We had such a wonderful weekend at this cabin. It's in a great and peaceful location - accessible to the mountain for skiing, and nature all round. We stayed there and winter and had a very comfortable stay. Lots of games to play by the fireplace! I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a quiet getaway, with access to mountain activities. I would definitely stay there again!

Great family trip
We spent three days at the cabin with two adults, two kids (9 and 7) and one dog. It was the perfect amount of room and had everything we needed for the trip. The board games and puzzles were an added bonus for the kids. The kids wished that there was snow at the cabin but we understand that is in the hands of mother nature. A short 20 minute drive up past Government Camp for snow play was not too big of a deal when we got to come back home to such a comfy cabin to dry off and snuggle in for the night.

Beautiful rustic mountain cabin surrounded by majestic trees and rushing creek!
This was the perfect refuge for me and my dog! The cabin is small and rustic, exactly what I wanted! This is a cabin I would live in year round! Cozy fireplace, adequate kitchen, and lovely loft bedroom. Small, plenty big enough for smaller people. The high fenced large yard was perfect for my dog! Hope to return in a couple months when the snow falls!

Perfect woodsy getaway
Snuck out of town to Oberon’s Junction for a solo retreat. As trite as it sounds, the Junction was everything I hoped it’d be—and more. Can’t wait to return, either by myself or with family in tow. Kudos to local support team, who quickly resolved an issue with water supply (intake from creek was clogged with debris from recent storms).

Cute little cabin
My favourite things about this place is probably how cool and dark it stays in the morning because it is veiled by the thick forest surrounding it. I also love how retro the place is! Definately a real cabin vibe since there isnt great wifi or really an entertainment center but that isnt important. The bath tub was nice to soak in after long days and the bedroom nook is pretty comfortable and cozy. The only thing they should improve on is better pots and pans because it really effects the food youre cooking.

Nice and cozy and dog friendly
We stayed 3 nights and found the cabin cozy, well prepared, and a good size for a couple with a toddler and a dog. Nice decor. Looks like there are repairs and upgrades ongoing to keep the place being improved. There is a dog friendly restaurant nearby called Wraptitude. There was a musty odor when we arrived but we just opened up all the windows for a couple of hours and all was good. It is super quiet and lots of trees and privacy. We loved hearing the creek at night. My wife didnt want to sleep in the loft but after trying it, she loved it. We liked having a washer/dryer onsite. There was enough room for a travel crib. The outlets in the kitchen didnt work but I just needed to reset the breaker in the box in the bathroom and then they did. The toilet works fine but the tank mechanism needs work so it doesnt leak. The location is perfect for exploring the Mount Hood area and we hiked some wonderful local trails. We will be back.
