Goed hotel voor een lang weekend Riga
Kamers zijn mooi en goed (ook schoon). Hotel ligt wel aan een plein waar het 's avonds nogal lawaaierig kan zijn. Er liggen oordopjes op je kamer en anders kun je deze halen bij de receptie. Goed ontbijt en elke ochtend wordt er iets warms voor je gemaakt.

Enjoyed the character of the hotel. It was lovely and convenient. Our room was very warm and we were unable to reduce the temperature. We spoke with the front desk and he was going to look at the thermostat. It didn’t help. I think there was something wrong with our unit.

The Relais is a delightful hotel, ideally located in the Old Town with access to all the sites Riga Old Town has to offer. The atrium is wonderful with all the mirrors and glass and a great sight from the glass lift. Our street facing room was quiet, spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed siting on the wide windowsill and watching life in the square. The room had all the amenities we needed. The designer cups, glasses, soap holders etc were a nice touch and sets of the quality of the hotel. We had included the breakfast package and this was definitely a good addition. The breakfast was very good, lots of choice and the omelettes were spot on. The staff in every part of the hotel were especially friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to explore the Old Town.

Can’t beat the location, but the air conditioning didn’t work, the condition of the room was rough, and upon checkout they had a surprise local tax charge and were unable to accept card payment.

This hotel is in an 18th century building on one of the main squares of the old town. The hotel and its surroundings are very picturesque. Our suite had a panoramic view of the old town (although most rooms are arranged around an interior atrium). The staff were consistently helpful in arranging airport transfers and restaurant reservations, all of which went perfectly. The food in the breakfast room was of very high quality (it is not possible to get a better omelet).

Great hotel, great location
Beautiful hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Very good location in the heart of the old town only a couple of hundred meters from the Freedom Monument. We would definitely choose this hotel for our next stay in Riga !

Lovely hotel except for room being unbearable due to temperature of 29c No windows to open & when we asked to be moved to another room they said they were full but this was only the case on 1 night of our stay. They said the temperature was pre set for the whole hotel & couldn’t be changed. We asked for a fan on two occasions but it never appeared. Whe I asked about a room upgrade as I am entitled if available as a gold member they said that they new nothing about this system with Expedia. Shame because otherwise it is a lovely hotel.
