'This house was in an ideal location for visiting Luray. We were minutes from downtown and the caverns but had a lot of privacy and a great view of the mountains from the front porch! The back yard is excellent. You can tell the owners take a lot of pride in their property. It is well maintained and has tons of activities for children. 'We had a great stay. The weather cooperated and we could use the 3 spacious patios to the fullest. The view is outstanding and the cabin is remote yet really close to amenities and shopping. Great times had by all.'

'Beautiful home and hostess was very responsive. The home omitted nothing in providing a complete pleasurable experience especially in the kitchen. When we got there our water was turned off, which threw me in a panic mode, but my hvac son soon corrected that situation. 'Our family of 5 (3 grown kids) had a nice stay, the train was very loud though which was the only negative. I could imagine it would be a thrill for little ones. The home was clean, and the comforts of coffee, soap, paper products provided by the host was very nice. The hiking was lovely despite wildfires on the first day, and Luray Caverns was a highlight of our weekend. Would definitely visit again.'

'The property was peaceful. There are plenty of paces to stroll and nearby hiking trails as well. The sound of the water was soothing and relaxing. I am sure it must be a great retreat from the heat of the summer as tubing and kayaking would be readily available.'

Short drive to the north entrance of the national park and to the state park. Would suggest bringing own cooking utensils and cookware if planning making on family meals. 'Beautiful quiet location. Very close to the forest, but unfortunately there is a large stream that runs across the trail that leads to GWNF. Otherwise, a nearly perfect place! The host's communication was great as well. We enjoyed the pool table (can be table tennis as well), and the variety of hikes a short drive away. Some of the furniture had animal hair on it from a previous guest. A deeper clean would have been appreciated, but it wasn't a major concern. We will consider visiting again in...

'My husband and I stayed for a short weekend away from the city. This place is the perfect place to disconnect and surround yourself with nature and beautiful views. Only suggestion that I have for guests is to be sure you bring towels, cooking oil, extra paper towells, and coffee/tea of your choice. Otherwise, everything is provided!'

'Husband and I just needed a little weekend away and this cabin was perfect. The amenities were wonderful. Beds and couch were very comfy. The pans and dishes were much better than cabins we have stayed in previously making it so much easier to cook and keep things clean. Would definitely stay away'
