'Smell was bad like public bathroom and it was not clean'

'Negligent Service for Solo Female Traveler I booked a non-smoking room at this Motel 6 and called ahead to confirm due to severe allergies. Arriving at 1:30 AM, the room was so thick with cigarette smoke I immediately suffered respiratory distress and hives. The night staff was dismissive, refused to call a manager, and denied basic requests for room spray. As a woman alone in an unfamiliar city at 2 AM, I was told to "just leave." I had to drive 90 minutes back home, arriving at 3:30 AM, only...

'Really happy i choose to stay with this motel 6, shops and dining options all around and close to old town sac.....room was clean and so was the bathroom....all in all very happy and definitely recommend staying here!!!! '

'In writing this review I have to decide "how" to compare this hotel with others. On the one hand, it's a Motel 6, so to begin with your standards shouldn't be excessively high. Comparing this hotel to other Motel 6's (or similar budget hotels), it stacks up pretty well. It's grounds were clean, although it needs some deep cleaning; for instance, the hot tub walls and floor are more green than white, and speaking of the hot tub, it is unbearably hot. No one could sit in it for more than a few...

'Room was clean but didn’t feel as safe as I would have liked it to be. A lot of riff raff hanging around the parking lot and balconies but it is what you get for a motel 6'
