'This home was exactly as advertised, which is not always the case, but certainly was here. Very quiet, friendly neighborhood as well. Many rentals up here do not have A/C, but due to the unusually high humidity this weekend, we were definitely glad this one did. Simply loved everything about this rental. Next time we are in the area, we will check the availability here first. Thanks for a great weekend!!!'

'We primarily rented this place to have a place to sleep after a trip to Grandfather Maountain, but it was so much more than that. The fireplace was great and easy to operate, the home was cozy and inviting, very clean with simple and easy checkout instructions. Loved the Keurig machine and coffee selection, and the TV was easy to operate. Enjoyed popcorn and a movie before bed. Would definitely stay here again. One note - the room with the pullout sofa is cold if you dont have one of the...

'This house was an excellent basecamp for a group of friends looking to explore the Linville Gorge area over a few days. The house is very cute & located in a beautiful neighborhood just a couple miles from many of the trails in Linville Gorge. Everything was clean & well ordered and the check-in/check-out process was straightforward. Highly recommend!'

'We spent a week here. Didn't spend any time on the lake. Enjoyed watching the deer from the big windows in the back and front of the house. The house appears to have been recently remodeled and was very clean and comfortable. The full-sized fridge and freezer were nice to have, as we prepared most of our meals at the house. Big TV, easy access to our streaming services (just had to log in then log out when we left), and comfortable seating. There were just two of us so we had plenty of room....

"One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. Maybe, as Europeans, we're not used to the American way of driving everywhere, but to visit a brewery, walking would seem a safer option. Pleasant enough motel but not sure we'd return."
