'I only stayed one night but I will definitely return for longer stays. The owner-manager could not have been kinder or more helpful as I was there for doctors' office visits at the Panorama Medicentre, a short walkable 1 km away. The bed and one bedroom suite were the most comfortable I have stayed in for quite sometime. The breakfast (included) was homemade eggs, bacon, toast and they even had decaf coffee for me. I love Paperbark Manor and will come again.'

'Excellent location very close to the city as well as main attractions like Table Mountain and Kirstenbosch. Our host was extremely gracious and went out of his way to let us in after hours late at night after our flight was delayed and to answer our questions. The on site parking is very handy for our rental car and the complimentary breakfast is delicious. Would highly recommend this spot for 1-3 travelers looking to see the area! '

'On arrival in Cape Town after a long road trip from Port Elizabeth, we were greeted with a rather unfriendly comment about not being rugby fans as we arrived during the last five minutes of a rugby game. Our booking stated that our reservation was 'bed and breakfast'. During the course of the first morning, after we already had breakfast, the owner came to our room stating that our reservation did not include breakfast upon which we referred her to our booking confirmation. 'Devonport House is a wonderful guest house in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Jenn and Jacques are great hosts and very helpful with tips for restaurants and sightseeing. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Breakfast includes plenty of choices for everybody. Constantia is perfect if you are looking for a place close to Cape Town but safe and quiet.'
