'Very poor experience at this hotel. Location is NOT well signed. Took several times of driving by to find it. We were given a 2nd floor room and there is no elevator. When we asked to change, the staff was pretty snide, saying "you should have known that and requested a 1st floor room to begin with." If this information is NOT noted in the hotel description and you have never stayed at this brand before, how would you know. No offer to help us upstairs with the bags. '

The breakfast was a very good selection as well. The room itself was a WIN! The atmosphere is very clean,calm and welcoming. 'We arrived before 9:PM and found no employees. The identification verification for check in took 1.5 hours. After submitting info online to verify my identity I expected the codes to arrive in a timely manner, they did not. There was no desk clerk when we arrived so we had to wait outside (under the canopy) in a thunderstorm. We spent 25 minutes on the phone with Marriott customer service, they were finally able to get us the access codes to the building/room.

'Het is een historisch gebouw. Op de zeer koude winterse dagen was de kant van de ramen wel koud in de kamer maar de verwarming was makkelijk naar een hogere temperatuur te zetten.

The check-in staff was extremely friendly. Our server the next morning at breakfast was also extremely nice and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. It would have been better to have it on either end of the shower instead of where it was located, which was on the back wall. The water was facing the shower curtain and was on the floor in the bathroom. The floor in the bathroom. We spoke with the woman manager and she was gracious enough to upgrade us to another room across the hallway. It was a very nice room. '
