'A lovely cottage in a great location. The cottage has everything you need and the bedrooms are a good size too. There are several uneven, steep steps walking up to the cottage so I wouldn’t recommend it to people who are unsteady on their feet. The owners left some biscuits and milk on the fridge which was a nice gesture. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future when visiting Whitby.'

'Excellent check in by Matt, enabled us to check in early and took all our bags up to the room for us. Room was clean and comfortable and we couldn't hear any noise from the bar downstairs. Excellent location opposite the train station and all local amenities on the doorstop.
Unfortunately the live act that was on was singing IRA Support songs and when my partner objected and complained we were asked to leave the bar. The singer did admit that he was wrong and had caused us being told to leave'
'I recently stayed for a night and had a wonderful experience. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had such great character—especially loved the mezzanine bedroom. The service was spot on, with friendly staff greeting us warmly and checking in during our meals. Food and drink were fantastic too, making it a memorable visit overall. I can't wait to come back!'

'Very glad that there was a lift. My single room was small but had all I needed. The shower was a really good size which made it easy to get into. There is a lounge with a lovely view of the sea. You can walk down to North Bay beach. The breakfast was extra but very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only problem is that there are steps from the street to the front door.'

'This hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the train station. There is a restaurant in the hotel which you can book once you have checked in . Communication from all the staff was outstanding during my stay. There is a lift inside the hotel. They also do bar meals. This hotel is a 40 minute walk to Oliver's Mount. I would stop here again '

We had a medium sea view room which had a large king size bed with a lovely modern bathroom. We had a fantastic sea view from our window. It can be a little difficult at times to find a parking spot due to the number of hotels in the area. We did not stay for breakfast as we thought this was a little expensive.
