'A lovely cottage in a great location. The cottage has everything you need and the bedrooms are a good size too. There are several uneven, steep steps walking up to the cottage so I wouldn’t recommend it to people who are unsteady on their feet. The owners left some biscuits and milk on the fridge which was a nice gesture. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future when visiting Whitby.'

Communication with the owner was top class and prompt replies, nothingvwas too much trouble. My family had a very relaxing time at the property, my 3 teenage boys would definately return again with us. 'It is a fantastic place in a great location. Upon entry, we were impressed; obviously we had made a great choice. The house was clean & freshly prepared. We were there to ride the Flying Scotsman, so parking was not an issue & it was a 2-minute walk from the station (up a cobble path). The village has more than we realized. The Co-op closes at 4PM. 'It was a lovely little cottage, had everything we could need. Staff were also very helpful. very comfortable place. We enjoyed our stay very much. However the mattresses were a bit hard but that made little difference. We still slept well 😊 would recommend! '

'Cottage was very cosy and had everything we needed for our stay. Had some lovely little touches (look out for the carved mice!) and was in a great location. Walks to Whitby and Scarborough along the cinder track just 5 mins from the door. Good wifi, good sized TV and unlike many holiday 'cottages' this one actually looked like a cottage. Quaint and full of character.'
