'This was perfect for us two couples to stay before we left on our cruise. The lady at the front desk was AWESOME. She could speak English and it was central to everything. I would definitely stay here again. Be aware that the building is very old with a very small elevator. We had to do one person and large luggage at a time. HA But it added to the charm. '

De kamer was schoon, lekker koel door de airco en voorzien van rolluiken. Ook hadden we weinig last van de geluiden van buitenaf. Een heel leuk hotel in het bruisende centrum van Ravenna, vlakbij restaurants en winkels. Het enige minpuntje was dat de douchebak nogal klein was.'

"Zeer goede ligging met vriendelijk personeel. Kamer is proper maar van vergane glorie. Ontbijt is zeer eenvoudig en eentonig met te weinig vers aanbod.
Tot onze grote verbazing werden ook (grote) honden in de kleine ontbijtruimte toegelaten.

"In hindsight, we would've booked another hotel for our stay in Ravenna. Unfortunately the quality of this hotel is quitte poor.
Here are the things we didn't like during our stay:
-Cleanliness of the room: the room didn't feel or look clean
-Furniture in the room: outdated & didn't match, a door of a wardrobe was missing. Very little care has been put in the rooms. Really old rusty elevator as well.
-Problems with airconditioning: during one night the airconditioning functioned really poorly and then shut off, we've heard other guests complain about this issue as well. When asking the staff next morning, we were informed that there was an issue with the airco and a repairmen was going to fix it. No apologies whatsoever. Later another member of the staff denied this and blamed us for not using the system correctly which we did.
-Communication with the staff: as an English speaker it was hard to communicate with most of the staff. We've also saw miscommunication between staff.
-Breakfast: nice that it was included but not a single fresh item displayed beside the fruit
Plusside was the location of the hotel which is close to the station and city centre. However you can find hotels in this area that are far better than the Roma hotel. "
