'The photos posted don’t do the place justice. The view is amazing. I was worried because it’s close to a main road (though the road means you’re two minutes from shops and food), but the trees mostly block the sound. Also the house is extraordinarily sound proof. The binder of info is helpful! One suggestion would be to leave it out so it’s easier to find.Great space and hope to return!'

'Excellent location and outdoor amenities! Owner/manager was very responsive- we had an issue with the garbage disposal that they were able to address same day on the Fourth of July holiday. The bed was comfortable and the cottage stayed nice and cool in the summer sun.'

'We stayed at The Cottage in the Woods for 9 nights for our 46th wedding anniversary. We had the most relaxing time. The cottage is everything you could wish for. The owner and his wife built this beautiful cottage and 99.9% of the art work and glasswork is also made by one or both of the hosts. The only downside would be if you have Verizon for your mobile service you will not have phone service at the cottage, Their WiFi works great. My favorite thing about the cottage is the chandelier...

The space is light and bight with wonderful views of the water. Very walkable to town and just minutes from a grocery store. You could not ask for a more comfortable rental. '
