Getting Around:

There are several convenient ways to get around Rockford, whether you're exploring the town or commuting to nearby destinations:

Car: The most common mode of transportation in Rockford is by car. The town is easily accessible by M-44 & US-131. There are several car rental companies for visitors who do not have their own vehicles.

Biking: Rockford has several bike-friendly routes and trails, including White Pine Trail and Pickett Park. White Pine Trail a turn-of-the-century railroad line is now a linear park, and an area favorite. Visitors can bring their own bikes or rent them from the local bike shop.



Taxis and Ride-Sharing Services: Visitors can use ride-sharing services such as Lyft and Uber to get around Rockford and the surrounding areas.
