  • Bostwick Lake is een meer van 218 acre met een zandbodem waar je alle watersporten kunt beoefenen. Hier vind je ons vakantiehuis met meer dan 3500 ft² aan gemeubileerde luxe, met adembenemend uitzicht op het meer vanuit bijna elk raam. Met 4 slaapkamers en 3,5 badkamers is er ruimte genoeg voor iedereen!
    De begane grond heeft een open indeling met een ruime woonkamer met een gashaard, een groot tv-scherm en volop zitplaatsen. De woonkamer loopt over in een royale, goed uitgeruste keuken en een formele eetkamer met schuifdeuren naar een gemeubileerd terras. Op de begane grond vind je ook een prachtige hoofdslaapkamer met een kingsize bed, een inloopkast en een eigen badkamer met een bubbelbad en een inloopdouche. Er is ook een wasruimte op de begane grond en een extra toilet bij de voordeur.
    Op de bovenverdieping vind je nog 2 slaapkamers, één met een verstelbaar kingsize bed en de andere met 2 eenpersoonsbedden, een complete badkamer en een aparte werkruimte. Alle slaapkamers hebben volop opbergruimte.
    Vanaf hier loop je zo het gemeubileerde terras en het meer op. Ga vissen vanaf de steiger, zwem, drijf lekker rond, speel in het zand en geniet van de zon! De avonden zijn het perfecte moment om buiten rond de gashaard samen te komen en te genieten van de prachtige zonsondergangen!
    Voor extra veiligheid is er een Ring-deurbel bij de ingang van het huis, een camera bij de voordeur beneden en een camera bij de mechanische buitendeur.
    De huurprijs is inclusief het gebruik van de 3 kajaks. Ook inbegrepen zijn reddingsvesten en handdoeken voor iedereen! Er is ook een 21" Bennington-pontonboot met een motor van 50 pk te huur.
    Je moet minimaal 7 dagen huren, van zaterdag tot zaterdag, van 14 juni tot en met 16 augustus. Op andere data geldt een minimumverblijf van 4 dagen.

Perfect house for a relaxing family vacation with 7 adults! The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The outdoor area by the lake was prettier than the photos. We appreciated all the little details inside and out. We were even greeted with homemade cookies on arrival. The only hiccup was the warm third floor but our host was quite responsive in addressing the issue, which we appreciated. We have stayed in many rentals and this one is at the top of our list!

Amazing house with gorgeous lake views. Both the inside and outside property were very spacious and accommodating for our family of 8 adults and two small children. We enjoyed the private dock and the accessible water activities, as well as all of the beautiful gathering spots that were available. We found all of the amenities in the listing to be very accurate. Our host was pleasant, easy to communicate with, and prompt with responses. This property exceeded our expectations.

When we arrived, I immediately realized the house was even more beautiful than the pictures could capture. Every room was thoughtfully furnished, and the beds were incredibly comfortable.The yard and beach were absolutely fantastic! We noticed so many thoughtful touches, like the beach being perfectly raked when we arrived. My grandkids quickly “fixed” that by spending the entire week playing there, and they loved every minute of it. We rented the pontoon and enjoyed several boat rides, along with lots of fishing. We caught and released a couple of large catfish, bass, and even a northern pike. We asked some of the locals for their favorite fishing spots, and their recommendations were spot on!Speaking of the locals, the neighbors were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable.Julie and Steve truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful vacation. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and hope to come back someday!

Fantastic!

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful home on the lake. It was just two us this time however this home could facilitate more than one family. The lake front is beautiful and our host was incredible. One if the better vrbo properties we’ve visited.

Warning: if you have other things to do such as a family wedding (like we did) you may find yourself not wanting to leave! The house is so gorgeous & comfortable it lended itself to some fantastic family memories! Thank you!

Overall excellent place to stay! There were 6 adults and 3 kids with plenty of space and seating. The basement has its own living room and kitchen, and we turned the basement into the “kids zone.” The water was shallow, good for little kids. Not too far from downtown Rockford or Grand Rapids which was nice since we had some bad weather. The only thing I would say is that there are a lot of steps, so i would not recommend for people who cant do steps. Otherwise I would recommend and would definitely go back!

Perfect vacation

Julie's home is beautiful and has everything you could ever want in a vacation home. The kids were in the water most of the day, the shallow depth was perfect for them. As for the adults, we had so many places to relax - the deck, the beach, the fire pit, and the floating lounge chairs. Other than getting our groceries, we rarely left the property, we had such a great time. I highly recommend Julie's home!

Family reunion

We had a wonderful week at the lake. This is a large house with all the amenities and a great location on a beautiful lake. House has all the toys you need to enjoy the water as well as a beautiful home and property to gather and enjoy time together. With its close proximity to GRR airport this is a perfect gathering spot for friends and families from around the country to gather and spend a relaxing and fun time together. Julie is a wonderful host who is a text or call away to answer any questions or provide great recommendations or assistance.

Vacation home

It was a great location, Great Lake, lots to do in the water, Many kitchen utensils, etc. It was a large home that could hold 2 families comfortably. It was a little warm in the upstairs bedrooms, but discussed with Julie and she said she will look into ways to make it cooler on the 2nd floor.

Lake Time

We had a wonderful time together at this beautiful home on the lake! Julie was accommodating and generous with the amenities her home has to offer. Boating was effortless fun! Knowing we were flying in, she even bought skis for us to use with her pontoon boat! We’d highly recommend her home to family and friends and we’ll be back. Thanks Julie!

The Lake House you’ve Always Wanted

We don’t own a Lake House, but if we did it would be just like this one! It had all the bells and whistles that you could possibly want. It was cleaned well before we arrived. It had beautiful views of the lake and even an option to rent a nice pontoon boat (which we did!). The kitchen is well stocked and all the bedrooms were comfortable and clean. Decor is updated and say “lake house”. Great location— you will love it!

4 generations

4 generations (88 years-2 months) gathered and completely enjoyed our week in this lovely home. We only left to go to the grocery store. Adults and children loved the indoor and outdoor spaces. Tubing, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, playing at the beach, roasting marshmallows, daily walks around the lake, evening pontoon cruises and nightly Scrabble games around the dining table made for very special memories. We did not turn on a TV even once!

Our Favorite Vacation Home!

Our family of 6 stayed here and absolutely loved it! Our kids 7, 7, 5 and 2 had a blast in the beach area playing with the toys that were at the house (definitely don't need to bring any from home). The water was shallow enough for our kids to walk to the end of the dock which made it perfect for them to play safely. We were also able to catch plenty of large mouth bass right from the dock as well! The house itself was beautiful. All of us agreed that it was the nicest home we've ever rented out and there was never a moment (even on a rainy day that kept us inside the whole time) that any of the kids said they were bored or wanted to go home - which was a first :)

Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful lakehouse! The place, inside and out, was immaculate. The main family room has a fabulous stone fireplace and a great view of the lake. The modern kitchen has everything you need, with plenty of counter space and cabinets. The master bedroom, with a nice king bed, also has a good view of the lake and a private balcony. We did not use the lower floor, but it is perfect for a couple who might want privacy. We spent most of our time outside. Many places to relax: a shady porch and dining table, a grouping of Adirondack chairs around a gas fire pit, and a small sandy beach area with lounge chairs. Paddleboards and kayaks were a bonus too. And there is a really nice boat at their dock that we rented for 3 days. Well worth it! The lake is clean and easy to negotiate and the Bostwick Inn, which you can boat to, walk to, or drive to, has good food and atmosphere. I can't say enough good things about this lake house. Julie, the owner, has thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable.

A NEW FAMILY FAVORITE!

My family and I have been renting different lake properties for our summer getaway for the past 5 years and so far this was our absolute favorite! All children in the family are under the age of 5 so a walk-in with a sandy beach was huge for us. The beach area was well maintained and was even beautifully raked upon our arrival. Also, the lake was shallow enough and very clean all the way out to the end of the dock. We had such a blast playing in the water with the kids, and it was even shallow enough where we could even just relax and watch from the shore. The house and property itself was also immaculate. We truly felt at home here and we wish we could have stayed longer! Julie was absolutely fantastic! The communication was great, she was always available and helpful with anything we might have needed. We actually left a pair of glasses and she even shipped them back for us. Truly such a sweet and wonderful woman. We would absolutely rent here again! If you are between a few properties, choose this one, you won’t regret it!

Perfect Lakefront Getaway for an Unforgettable Family Vacation

We had the pleasure of staying at this lake house for a week and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The cleanliness of the house was impeccable, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Kids loved the fresh plate of cookies when we arrived. The spacious and cozy interior with its beautiful decor provided ample room for our family to relax and unwind. The large windows offered breathtaking lake views from almost every room, adding to the charm. The fully equipped kitchen and with spices, coffee and condiments made meal preparation a breeze. Our highlight of our stay was the lake itself. The private dock provided easy access, and we spent hours swimming, kayaking, boat rides around the lake, fishing, and enjoying the water. The provided water toys and games added to the fun. The owners' exceptional hospitality and prompt communication made the entire experience seamless. They truly cared about ensuring we had a memorable stay. They had everything we needed, including a crib, highchair and baby gate for our little one. In conclusion, our family had an amazing time at this lake house. The cleanliness, picturesque surroundings, and wonderful amenities exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this rental for a peaceful and rejuvenating retreat where you can create unforgettable memories with your loved ones. We're already dreaming of our next visit. Lovely property; disappointed with the details

The lake is beautiful and the house is lovely. However, we were a bit disappointed with the day to day details of living at this property. The advertised main floor laundry was unavailable ("waiting for parts" owner said) so we were "allowed" to use the basement washer/dryer. That was quite inconvenient for daily laundry for a large group. It turned cold during our stay and when we asked how to get the advertised gas fireplaces to work the reply was "it would not lite the last time we tried it. I have put three different controllers in there. Might be time to get a different fire place". Obviously the owner knew in advance we would not be able to use the laundry or the fireplaces... but charged us full price for the stay. In addition, the upstairs bathtub/shower was plugged and is in need of maintenance. We moved a floor lamp in the living room so it could be plugged into a socket that worked. Again, the house itself has a wonderful layout and it was perfect for our multi-family situation. The lakefront is right out the back door and we were fortunate to have several days with beautiful weather where we could sit outside and enjoy the lake and the view. That aspect was 5 star! Rockford is a nice little town and we could find everything we needed at the Meijer's store there. I highly recommend it. Overall, the stay was very pleasant. It's too bad we encountered a few too many disappointments with the practicals; I feel a bit resentful of paying the price we did.

Wonderful family vacation on the lake

Everything about this house met or exceeded the description and our expectations. The house was perfect for our family vacation. Everything that we needed was provided. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards, sitting in the back yard roasting marshmallows in the evening, having Morning coffee on the balcony. If we had any questions the owner responded immediately and was very pleasant. We would definitely do it again.

Felt like home with everything high end to take care of our every need and wants. Beautifully furnished, lovely landscaping, safe sandy beach, serene lake. It has so many amenities to enjoy to make it the perfect family vacation getaway. Everyone loved it!!!
