'This property was magnificent. We rented the king suite overlooking the harbor. The suite had a great balcony dbl sided FP in the suite, beautiful bathroom with heated floor. There is a restaurant on-site as well as a bar. The staff were warm and friendly and very helpful. Rockport may be going through a renovation in the town, not much shopping but Camden and Rockland are just 5 mins down the road. Overall, a beautiful hotel and location, '

'This hotel is apparently just two years old so everything is shiny new. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is lovely. Two excellent restaurants next door. Town is very small so you will need to drive to other activities if you stay more than two days. Very highly recommend. '

'It was beautiful we had a nice view after the hotel fixed the mess up the pools an hot tub was great the weather was perfect. On the down side their was only 3 pillows for each bed, breakfast well the last 2 days I decided to skip because they didn’t have enough of some of the stuff on the list '

'The room was clean and attractive, and we appreciated having a Keurig coffee maker in the room. The continental breakfast in a pleasant dining area was very nice. The ladies who run this obviously care about the attractiveness of the rooms and the comfort of their guests. The only downside is that the view from the comfortable chairs outside the rooms was the parking lot. '

'Very impressed with the staff and management of this hotel. They were plentiful and made a difference in what physically is a modest hotel. While the Harbor view is nice, it certainly would be better if not staring at the back of a ferry terminal. Immediate location is more industrial, but charming just down the street where many old buildings have been renovated and plenty of nice restaurants.'

"This hotel is one of the best I have seen in a long time. The furniture is modern and comfortable, the room was with oceanview.
The light morning snack (croissant and croissant au chocolat) was good to get the day started. The whole experience left a very warm feeling."
"Honestly, we really wanted to give a 5 star review, just because Marc was such a great host. But all in all our experience was a bit disappointing - considering what we paid.
We had booked a cottage but it was actually a room in a cottage with several other rooms in it. The room itself did not offer the right value for money. It was clean and the bed was great, but everything else felt and looked tired and worn. The curtains looked like they hadn't been replaced since the 90s. There was no microwave or fridge in the room. There was a coffee maker but no condiments to go with it.
Camden is a charming place to stay and the High Tide Inn is right on the ocean shore, which probably explains the rates. But if Marc wants to make this place work, he needs to do some work on the place. "
