It just doesn't get any better with views of the sound right in front of you. Pour yourself a beverage and relax on one of the many decks to see the most glorious sunsets. We just added lots of new deck seating.

Ocean views are yours to behold, from the upper and mid level, or sit outside and hear the waves. Sunrise from the ocean is spectacular-- and there's a private boardwalk to the beach from our neighborhood. It's an easy walk.

We are not able to accommodate large events or pets. We have a Nest doorbell to ensure the security of our property. The HOA has resurfaced our tennis court and you can now play Pickleball as well as tennis. So please feel free to bring your rackets.
The new bridge in Rodanthe is finished and will be visible from this home. We are also getting new neighbors across the street but you will still be able to enjoy those beautiful sunsets.We look forward to having easier access to Hatteras Island!

  • Bonner Bridge is one of North Carolina's most well known man-made structures of it's kind (The Linn Cove Viaduct on the Blue Ridge Parkway is probably the most well known). This location makes for a great getaway at the Outerbanks to spend an entire day (and night). The location is popular for fishing and is ideal for landscape and astro photography. You can have lots of fun on some of the dunes, although getting the sand out afterwards is a big hassle. This is one of my favorite images from this location. I love the warm light tones and the shadows that create a contrast in the foreground sand. It is created from a single exposure with only minor modifications made to adjust overall contrast and brightness. If you are interested in wildlife, the Pea Island Wildlife Refuge is nearby and is a very popular location. We had a wonderful stay at this cottage in Rodanthe. The home was very clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. One of the highlights was the incredible view of the sound—watching the sunset each evening was absolutely magnificent. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others looking for a peaceful Outer Banks getaway.

Our family had a great week staying at this home. It was perfect! The house was super clean and had all the appliances needed and then some! The pool was a nice addition to the house and was used daily. The walk to the beach was just a few short minutes with lovely views. Great memories were made. The house was beautiful and everything we needed. We had the sound on one side, the ocean on the other and a pool in our backyard.The family had a great time, the grandchildren were speechless. And the host was very courteous, and answered any question we had immediately.

Gorgeous house. Great location!

House is fantastic. Host was incredibly helpful and quick to respond when we had issues. We loved the views and the fact that each bedroom had a private bathroom. Kitchen was fully stocked and loved the second refrigerator on lower levelIf you are traveling with anyone with mobility issues, you way want to know there are a lot of stairs. The kitchen and living space is on the top floor. Fortunately there is a large bedroom on that floor so my parents stayed there. 2nd floor has 3 bedrooms bottom floor has a bunk with trundle. We also rented a golf cart. It was nice for my parents but we could have gone without it. If renting, consider exploring a bit south. We wish we had done it sooner.

Foster your Dreams was the perfect house for our family. Everyone had their own room with bathroom which made living together for a week all the more enjoyable! We loved using the pickle ball courts that are a quick 2 minute walk away on the way to the beach, the pool table and using the pool and hot tub after an afternoon at the beach. (Beach is .4 of a mile away) The kitchen was well stocked and had a pantry to house our food for the week. Kathy was prompt in responding to my questions and seemed like a super sweet lady. Would highly recommend this house!

Excellent Stay

This was our 1st time staying in Rodanthe and this was the perfect getaway! For the adults, we could relax in the pool while the kids went to the beach and towns during the day. It took a day or two to figure out what was open in the area but it was nice for us to be away from all the tourists. We will definitely be back again!!

Great access to all things Outer Banks

Overall no complaints, easy sound and beach access. Love being able to see both from the incredible decks. The pool was perfect after an afternoon on the beach or a soak in the hot tub. Rooms are spacious, beds are cozy and shower pressure and temp was great. Ample parking and space out front. Beach toys and kayaks and everything included were great to have as well as access to the pickleball / tennis court. Only complaint was one of the beds in the bunk bed room was filled with potato chips on arrival but nothing we couldn't take care of on our own. Would stay here again for another great family vacation.

A great property for a family

My husband and I took our 3 kids to Rodanthe for a relaxing spring break and we were not disappointed! We had the most beautiful views, amazing house/property, quick walk to the beach, short drive into town. It was exactly what we needed. I can’t wait to return!

Had a wonderful and relaxing Christmas here with my family. The house was perfect. The pool table was a huge hit with everyone. Plenty of kitchen items to cook dinners with and the hot tub in December was awesome! Super responsive host. Would highly recommend.

My family and I absolutely loved staying at Foster Your Dreams. Ea h room had the most comfortable bed. Their en suites for each bathroom were comfortable and slightly updated. The kitchen for a ton of use and there was room around the table for my whole family. The entertainment available was wonderful with TVs in each room or lounge area. We would certainly stay here again.

Great week to relax!

The home was beautiful and in a nice, quiet location. The walk to the beach was short and worth the walk. Definitely plan your meals and pack to where you don’t have to run out often as only a small market is nearby. We planned a few days to make the drive to north Outer Banks where there’s more activities as staying in Rodanthe is more for family time, beach time and relaxing, which is what we wanted to do. Our host was always very responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

The property is in a great location to the sound and ocean. It’s a quiet neighborhood with a lot of permanent residents.
