Share ALEX'S HIDEAWAY with your family and friends this year! It's the perfect spot in the tri-villages of Rodanthe, Waves and Salvo, and very convenient to the Rodanthe Pier.

There's a lot to see before you even go in the house. On the ground level, start your vacation off with a splash in the private pool or enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub. When you get out of the water, sip a refreshing drink at the poolside Tiki bar while the Burgermeister in your group reigns supreme at the charcoal grill. Also on the ground level, you will find a covered picnic area in the breezeway, and an outdoor shower.

When it's time for a break, go up one flight to the second-level game room with pool table and kitchenette which boasts a bar, full-size refrigerator and microwave. Just around the corner you'll discover a quiet den with comfortable sofa and chairs and a large television where you can attach your own game console or media player. Also on this level is a bedroom with a pyramid bunk and smart TV plus a half bath. If you want to escape for a catnap, enjoy the hammock on this level's south-facing deck.

On the third level you will enjoy a good night's rest in one of three bedrooms (two kings, one queen), all with private baths and smart TVs. There is a laundry room on this level as well with a new, large-capacity washer and dryer.

Up on the top level you will find the great room which provides ample seating for the group around the large screen smart TV. Ocean-to-sound views can be enjoyed through the windows or from the decks. Your group's chef will feel right at home in the well-appointed kitchen preparing meals for the family before gathering at the adjacent dining area. There's one more king bedroom with a private bath and smart TV on the top level, just around the corner from the great room.

And don’t let the thought of climbing four flights of stairs intimidate you. When it comes to hauling groceries and luggage, there is an elevator to make the job a breeze!

Please note that there are TWO cameras on the property - neither of which are located in areas where guests have a reasonable expectation of privacy. One is a Ring doorbell on the front entry. Pressing the button will chime inside the house, but it also alerts the owners via the Ring app. We generally ignore those alerts as nine times out of ten it's a food delivery person. If we receive a second alert, we will often respond or at least see what's going on. The second camera is located in the garage entry and faces the driveway. We use it to monitor that service personnel (cleaners, pool guy, lawn guy...) visit the house on schedule. Rest assured, we never spy on guests. But please don't interfere with the cameras or block their view.
