'Brilliant House, in a great location, and all ten of us had a wonderful holiday!However, as we booked for Christmas week, we paid a large premium, and didn’t expect to find stained sofas with rips in, and essentially a lot of wear and tear (this is not the place to list them, but think dirty blinds etc) that should not be in a property sold as “luxury”. 'Lovely - if quirky - property and grounds, much loved and well cared for. All the necessary equipment is provided, plus some additional (and tasty!) welcome items. Nicole and Steve, who look after the place, are delightful folk.Pubs, chip shops, Chinese takeaways are all within a short drive. The cottage is well placed for exploring both the New Forest and Dorset, but we'd also recommend the nearby Moors Valley Country Park. 'I stayed at the house for almost a month and it was memorable. It's comfortable, beautiful, and cozy. Very safe. A quiet neighborhood, with the morning visit of a cute and shy squirrel. This is definitely where I will stay again when I am in England.'

'Grove Lodge was the perfect choice for our family of 8 adults celebrating my father's 100th birthday. The ground floor ensuite bedroom was perfect for him. The house was clean and very well equipped. As we had goodcweather we were able to enjoy the lovely private garden. We were met by Lee who was very friendly and gave us lots of useful advice about the area.'
