  • Welkom bij "Summer-Salt" een bijgewerkt Jenness Beach-huisje voor u om gezinsherinneringen te maken. Ontspan op de veranda met een kopje koffie of een cocktail en geniet van het uitzicht op het strand direct aan de overkant van de straat (recht naar beneden). Laat de geluiden van de golven 's nachts u kalmeren om te slapen. Het huis ligt aan een rustige straat ten oosten van 1A (Ocean Blvd.), veilig voor kinderen om te spelen en heen en weer naar het strand. Dit huis is in 2017 volledig gerenoveerd en heeft de charme van weleer behouden, inclusief de voorzieningen van vandaag, zoals roestvrijstalen apparaten, een wasmachine / droger, een flatscreen-tv, enz. Het huisje heeft 5 slaapkamers, 2 zonnige omheinde veranda's, bijgewerkte keuken, woonkamer, game / wasruimte, twee badkamers binnen en een eigen afgesloten buitendouche huis. Het huis ligt op een mooie, groene kavel met ruimte om te spelen.

    In tegenstelling tot veel huurwoningen, bieden wij alles wat u nodig heeft voor uw vakantie, behalve eten en opdienpersoneel! Lakens, badhanddoeken, strandlakens zijn allemaal inbegrepen. De schuur heeft strandstoelen en speelgoed voor uw gebruik. Zelfs een surfplank en wetsuits! Veel extra voorzieningen, waaronder wasmachine / droger, vaatwasser, draadloos internet, kabel-tv, gas grill, tafelvoetbal tafel, slaapkamers met airconditioning, gasfornuis, oven, etc. Het is echt de perfecte plek voor een familie-uitje!

    Jenness Beach - Land en Land keuze voor "Beste stranden in New England"

    Zwemmen, surfen, varen, vissen, walvissen spotten en cruises vanaf het strand en de nabijgelegen haven van Rye. Minutes to Water Country en Odiorne State Park / Science Center. Geniet van lokale visrestaurants op loopafstand en de activiteiten en winkels van het nabijgelegen Portsmouth.

    Houd er rekening mee dat op de locatiekaart van VRBO niet de openbare toegang tot het strand is aangegeven. Het ligt direct aan de overkant van het strandhuisje.

The location of this property cannot be beat! The host was very accommodating! They thought of everything to make your vacation perfect and easy! The set up of the house worked perfectly for our group. So many seating areas of meals inside and out! We cannot wait to come back!

This property location is an absolute gem - located directly across the street from beach access. The house itself is old but unique, clean and has a lot of New England cottage charm. The outside shower was a nice surprise - my kiddos loved using it. Will return!

We had a nice time in Rye. The house is old and quirky. There were a number of things that were unexpected: the downstairs bedrooms have glass doors with no curtains, neither bathroom door locks (the upstairs one doesn't even latch), the kitchen is super small and the floor is steeply slanted. The house appears to have been cobbled together over many years. It's comfortable, but strange. Given the price, I would expect a little more.

This was our second time staying at this vintage beach house in Rye. We absolutely love everything about the house from the washer and dryer to the dishwasher and the full bath plus 1/2 bath inside. There is also a bonus shower outside, which is very helpful for the kids coming in from the beach. Beautiful, safe street and a 30 second walk to the beach directly across the street. The cottage is comfortable and has a nice breeze throughout the day. AC in the bedroom too. We have never used it, but it’s nice to know it’s there just in case. This is a perfect place for kids with beach toys, boogie boards, and chairs. Also, plenty of linens provided, including lots of towels. Owner is wonderful and helpful for anything that you need. You can’t beat the location and friendly neighborhood. Added bonus, the beach location is absolutely beautiful and a private-like spot in Rye. We can’t wait to return next year! Thank you for another memorable week. We cherish this week and appreciate you for sharing your home with our family.

Good location but very old house and tight layout

Location is great but the house itself is extremely old and needs extensive updating. Kitchen is very small, bedrooms are small and noise carries very easily throughout house. I wouldnt stay here again.

Location, location, location - this house scores big on its location - typical beach vacation house, certainly not pristine but very serviceable . The bedrooms downstairs were eclectic and small but functional. Big pluses on not having to bring sheets and towels as well as having available beach gear to use. We had a glitch upon arrival but James was reachable and responsive. If you are not used to beach houses you may find fixtures dated and a bit of paint needed here and there but very typical for a vacation house. The clincher is the location, easy access to the beach, fun parade of people and surfers making the way to the beach. We would recommend this house.

Beach Bliss!

We absolutely love 63 Old Beach Road! It is perfectly located directly across from our favorite beach, clean and comfortably appointed and includes all we need for a fun filled family vacation at the beach! James and family are wonderful hosts and we miss it already!

What a nice home in such a beautiful area! The homeowners were so gracious and couldn’t have been more accommodating. The house is so clean and equipped with everything you need. The beautiful beach is just a short walk from the front steps. We hope to rent here again .

Perfect beach family vacation

My family of 5 and my sister’s family of 4 all stayed and our families stayed here together for a week and can’t say enough great things about this house! It was extremely clean when we arrived and everything looked like it did in the pictures, even better in person. James was very responsive, before, during and after our stay however we didn’t even need to reach out during the week since everything was so well arranged prior. The beach is not more than a 2 min walk across the street and the neighborhood is friendly and quiet. The beach towels and linens were already provided which was a bonus! We had a great week and would recommend this property to anyone looking to have the quintessential beach vacation!

Great Property!

We stayed for a week and the end of July and everything was as advertised. Perfect location and the house had everything we needed for our week at the beach. Due COVID we stayed in and cooked most meals and the house was well equipped with everything we needed including a gas grill out back. Air conditioning kept us cool and comfortable and the garage out back was perfect for storing bikes and beach stuff. Great house and amazing location!! So close to the beach that running to the house to use the bathroom or grab something was easy. James the owner was very responsive and checked in before and during out stay to make sure we were all set.

Great location in a peaceful neighborhood where you can see the ocean from the house. Fully equipped house plus sand toys, beach chairs, sea kayak. Also well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and tasteful beach decor. Many rooms made it easy for family life. So sad to leave!
