'I am not sure what to write. Location perfect for sightseeing, free parking, spacious room (the suite), quiet (good sleep) and clean. Communication with owner upfront good. We had a request for a more continental breakfast and it was hard to explain. Must say, staff tried their best to meet our wishes. Bed was a bit hard for us, but that is personal taste. In the end nothing to complain and a lot of pro’s but we didn’t feel it, but no cons so if you search in this location, this is a good hotel...

'This place was a dream, I had a big room with a beautiful bathtub and the whole place was bliss. The staff spoke great English and were very kind. The Taiwanese breakfast was delicious. I had a massage here which was one the best I have ever had. The location is so convenient for shops, kenrokuen gardens and the the art museum. I would love to come and stay again '
'Neat hotel that offered a traditional style with modern amenities and check in process. The space was great and offered a good separation for our son to have his own bed. The bath was so nice and welcome after a day of walking and sight seeing. The playground in the neighborhood was perfect and we enjoyed dining close by. The walkable distance to the station was great and check in worked fine at the other hotel, they held our bags as we were early. Never figured out the wifi but didn't ask...

'Superior double room was very small. Could not leave suitcases open without blocking the door. Bathroom felt like a boat cabin within a cabin. Staff was friendly but that’s like everywhere in Japan. '

Lobby/Reception is at the 3rd floor and does not have a typical desk - it makes for a modern hotel approach, I guess. Very classy design all around.
