We could have enjoyed many hours sitting in the "sun room" if we hadn't been pulled away to other activities. It was all lovely and easy. Suggest owners install a grab bar for the tub/shower. That tile step is dangerous, especially when wet.'

'The sunrises across the sound are incredibly amazing. If that was not enough the house has the newest appliances, great layout, and 200 plus degrees of water views from the dining room table. It is ideally located for a peaceful and restorative vacation from reality. Working remotely from the dining room table was the best location yet. 'This is our 16th year vacationing at Hay Beach, but our first time staying at this property. The house is very confrontable and the layout is great, plenty of room for our family, 3 couples. The second level deck was the hangout, beautiful views of the sun rises with morning coffee, watching large pods of dolphins swimming 30 yards off the beach, eagles flying overhead and cocktails every evening. The guys fished from kayaks while the girls laid in the sun on the deck every day ... great...

'Clean, light, and airy little cottage. Nicely remodeled with the latest amenities. The location was wonderful. Many walking opportunities, close to excellent restaurants, and close to interesting historical and natural sites. Very enjoyable place to stay.'

'We stayed for our Thanksgiving this year, Wednesday-Saturday. It was splendid. The house is charming, highly comfortable, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The view from the housen is breathtaking, and there is so much yard space to enjoy outdoor activities, including the swing set up right on the tree by the back porch. My kids loved the swing! So much fun. The other outside features and accessories were also great. We had a nice fire in the firepit by the water, and did smores...
