'The house (connected to another house) was clean and well-stocked. It was quiet, with an easy walk into town. The location was right across from a winery where we had a wonderful lunch. The management company was professional and was top-notch in communications. One minor suggestion: the mattress for the bed in the primary bedroom was quite soft for our tastes. But we'd recommend this if you are staying in the Carlton area. '

'We stayed 3 days at this property while exploring the wine region. The home was very comfortable and beautifully renovated. The property is stunning with beautiful mature plants and a huge old oak. The home is close to town where we were able to walk to the local wineries and especially enjoyed Carlton bakery where we ate every morning! We would definitely stay here again. '

'This is a very cute comfortable house with many thoughtful touches throughout. We walked in and all said WOW when we saw how beautiful it was. Our host also went above and beyond with some special birthday surprises! My daughter and good friend and I were hiking 10 falls to celebrate birthdays. The house is totally equipped with everything you need and the hot tub was especially nice after a day of hiking! We felt lucky to find this place. Thank you Audra!'

'Our stay at the Wynkoop house was wonderful. We came to Carlton to visit family and the location was great. It was really close to Main Street so we could easily walk to the restaurants and shops, but it also felt private because it was set back off the street. The house itself was a dream; it had the charm of an old home with all the comforts of a new home and it was beautiful- we felt like we were staying in a magazine! 'Very beautifully decorated, extremely clean and well situated in Salem. The hostess quickly answered any questions and made sure we were comfortable. I would definitely stay there again if we make it back to Salem!'

'We had a great stay! The space was very large, clean, and comfortable — perfect for relaxing and enjoying time together. We appreciated the amenities and loved the walkability of the location. One thing to note: one of the bedrooms is in the basement with an external exit (locked) and is separated by two floors from the other three, which may be important depending on your group’s needs. Overall, a great experience!'

'Location was convenient for the places I needed to go. The neighborhood seemed quiet. The neighbors in the adjoining duplex/group home were quiet, no problems at all. Parking was off street. I did have some security concerns about the property- window that could not be secured. Host is now aware. Furniture was adequate, not overly comfortable. The host was responsive, arranged to have more toilet paper and paper towels delivered when we got low on supplies. '
