'It was a very peaceful spot set back from the road. The car wasn't parked on site but finding a spot on the road was easy and walking up to the cottage was guided with directions very clearly explained with photos by the host. 'Absolutely terrible cottages you can't get any more basic. Overlooking a concrete car park even though I paid for Garden view. Refused to stay in them and made them change me to the hotel which was OK. The site is very shabby and derelict. But hotel is modern. Nothing to do for children. Wouldn't stay again.'

'We stayed for a few days whilst visiting family in Manchester and Sheffield.The location was perfect for this! Extremely quiet but very accessible.We appreciated the space of a house, for two people (and a dog!) and also the fact that we were able to book for the exact dates of our stay.Warm (temperatures outside were around zero) and comfortable (very comfortable bed!)Very well-equipped kitchen … just missing the means to make fresh coffee!Definite recommendation from us!'
