There’s water flowing behind the property that keeps the place cool since there is no a/cThe beers to try in the frig - bonus. Plenty of places for storage. Total privacy. 'We loved the 2 room cabin.The location allowed access to Salida and Cotopaxi along with longer trips to Leadville and Canon city/Royal Gorge.We used the full kitchen daily and enjoyed the intermittent stream in the mornings. We saw a doe and 2 fawns in the yard. Clean and felt like new construction.Warm evenings which require fans to cool off. Crisp mornings we fantastic. Started off with coffee and away for local adventures. We enjoyed the fire ring for marshmallows and brats and hot dogs...

'This is an excellent rental, nice and quiet with great views in all directions - especially for sunrise, sunset, and star-gazing. Lots of space for myself and my two teens. Full and fully stocked kitchen, very easy to cook meals in which saved lots of money vs going out. Nice large tub for soaks - I brought some bubble bath along but it wasn't enough! Missed my bath "pillow" too though. There is a skylight right over the largest bed in the top bedroom, and I wish I had thought to bring a sleep...

"This is one of the hidden gems hotel. We were a little to early, because of the light traffic underway. But we could check in immediately and enter the room. The room was fantastic. Spacious and super clean. Beds were very comfy. Loved the digital doorlock. No worry’s for not working keycards. Breakfast was also great. Lot of choices and very friendly staff. Location is perfect. Close to downtown and highway. If we come back to Salida, we will stay here again !!"
