Tom’s Cabin is located in a quiet cul-de-sac providing an excellent retreat to explore Staithes. Sleeping 4; no smoking and no pets. Self catering. Staithes has a small community of fishermen operating from the harbour. It has narrow winding streets for access to activities and amenities; recommendations available upon request. The property is decorated in a welcoming fashion and has a secluded outdoor area and a garage outbuilding for guests’ use. There is ample parking and WiFi is free.
The Space:
The property provides a homely feel for guests visiting the area and oozes a relaxed atmosphere.
Upon entering the property via the front door, an adequately sized bathroom is to your right (no bath, only shower) which flows on to the kitchen area which is equipped with all the essentials.
From the entrance, turning left, takes you into a large living area through which the two good sized bedrooms (each sleeping two people) can be found.
For Confirmation - the property has two bedrooms (1 double, 1 with 2 singles).
Guest Access:
Immediate guest access is to the front of the property off Fairfield Road.
Access can also be gained via the side of the property directly into the kitchen.
Keys are held within the Key Safe on the external of the property.
The Neighborhood:
Staithes is a traditional fishing village famed by Captain James Cook having spent some time there working in 1745 before his career as an explorer.
The village still has many local people living there with also numerous holidaymakers visiting from all corners of the UK all year round. It still has a small community of fishermen operating from the harbour in small fishing boats. It has narrow winding streets leading to various points of natural beauty viewing.
Crime rates are very low in the location of the property however guests are advised to take the standard crime prevention measures.
Getting Around:
Accessibility in the area of the property is via car or on foot. If you decide to take a trip down into the harbour, which is definitely worth it, there is little parking so travelling by personal car is not advised. Taxi or walking is advocated
Other Things to Note:
A standard Rental Agreement is applicable to this property for the duration of your stay and is available directly upon request. By making a reservation, you automatically accept the terms of this Rental Agreement. A £70 cleaning fee is also applicable per reservation for this property / listing.
