'Great weekend in a beautiful place, plenty of space for us all to be and each bedroom very comfortable. Easy access for taking a walk on the cliffs to saltburn which a few of the group attempted! All in all a great property that was clean and spacious and good for large groups.'

Perfectly located 3 doors from the Cod & Lobster, we were lucky that the mixed weather allowed us to enjoy a coffee on the front bench, overlooking the beach and harbour, in the morning sun every day! Can't fault the cottage where pretty much everything is provided for your stay including a mini library with many interesting celebrity bios and plenty of other books you wouldn't expect! Some nice knick-knacky shops, couple of good cafés, decent sized supermarket and the Guns Bar is well worth a visit for its friendly and knowledgeable staff and great selection of beers. 'We had a brilliant family get together at this house over new year. There were 8 adults and 2 children & there was plenty of room for everyone. The house is lovely, clean, well equipped and a really short walk to the beach as well as the shops, supermarket, bars and restaurants of Saltburn. We all said we would visit again - would highly recommend!'

'Just a 5 min walk down the hill to old Staithes village, but very quiet location if you want to retreat and get a good sleep. Well equipped accommodation, clean, tidy, etc. big bonus was parking in the drive, unlike many properties down the hill.'

'Spacious, well equipped, clean and within 5 minutes walk of restaurants, bars and supermarkets. It worked perfectly for our party of 4 adults. We were prepared for the stairs up to the second floor so considered it as training! We had lots of kit for walking, running and swimming, so shelves/ drawers in the bedrooms wouldn’t have gone amiss and a few hooks for towels/coats would have been useful but there was plenty of floor space for all our stuff. 'Staithes is mine and my partner's favourite place in the UK. We have stayed in Staithes a few times now and I can honestly say I would recommend this cottage to anyone. The location is perfect with a bit of a sea view from the bedroom window. The cottage has a lovely cosy feel to it, beds are really comfy and has everything you need for a short/ long stay.
